I got the beef shawarma plate. The flavour was fine, nothing life-changing but fine, and the serving ample, but I am giving this only one star because of the flimsy plastic cutlery that came in plastic wrapped packaging next to the cash register. That cutlery is one tiny fork and a tiny plastic butter knife, and ONE paper napkin. I had this massive plate of food with lots of rice and they couldn't even scare up a single spoon for me. I've noticed this recurrently in Montreal and it's insulting, horrible quality plastic disposable cutlery, styrofoam cups, just shameful. I had to throw most of my lunch away because it was simply too difficult to eat. I can't think of more that one shawarma place at home in Calgary that doesn't offer real metal cutlery for here" but Montreal must just be too primitive for this sort of thing."

First time i ever leave a review for a restaurant, ever. The most pitiful and disapointing amir experience. Usually i love amir but this store is garbage. How do you forget the shish taouk, radish, hummus, jalapeno, and the pita bread for a freakin pita shish taouk platter???Why are you being manipulative and have buy 1 get 1 free for $16 to make it look like the two bowls are worth $32 if its half" the size (more like a third of a usual platter) also just looked like at that

Don’t bother. Used to really like Amir. This location in particular back when it was run by two sisters. Now? Definitely skip this location and the whole franchise. As a brand they must have bottom of the barrel standards to allow a location like this represent them. Horrible by every measure of the imagination. Try Boustan next door on crescent or literally any place that doesn’t have the name Amir on it. Congrats one location changed my mind about an entire franchise.

I'll never go back to this place even if dying from starvation. The food is so-so, and if you don't tip the cashier you'll have it thrown in front of you like an animal. Plenty of similar places nearby. HARD PASS!!

Good service but the food was not great . I got the chicken platter and the rice was half cooked and dry . Chicken was hard and dry as well . Overall it was a bad food experience. Please ensure to cook things fully .

Great service and staff but horrible food. The meat was not cooked and it was red! The taste of the chicken was cold and hard too. I got sick the next morning; that's why I decided to write this review down.The staff accepted to change our plates but I already had some of the uncooked food.I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a safe food.

Very disapointed with the person who work there at night on monday the 19th december 2022 and foods is very disgusting, they ruined the business name of Amir. I always loved Amir but this branch not recommand at all...
