Bridgeport Family Chiropractic: Dr. Jeff Winchester

For about 2 years I've been receiving chiropractic treatments, at least once per week. I went in with serious health issues including spells of vertigo, chronic lower back pain, as well as neck and shoulder pain. After about 4 weeks of visits I noticed a lot of improvement, with much of the vertigo reduced to mild, occasional dizziness. After 5 months, my vertigo was completely gone, and lower back/shoulder pain about 80% relieved, day by day. From about the third month, I began incorporating cardio exercise sessions 1-2 per week. Over the course of all sessions up to now, I feel over-all far better than when I first started. I rarely experience neck pain/stiffness, and only occasionally suffer with back pain - usually as a natural result of strenuous exercise. If you're considering chiropractic care, I would recommend you set up an appointment with Dr. Jeff Winchester for a full diagnostic (including x-rays) and adjustment. It could be just what you need to get your over-all health and well-being back on track.

Dr. Jeff and the staff of his office are great. They have proven to be flexible and reliable in meeting the chiropractic needs of my family and I since starting with them in July, 2021.

Honestly, my first two visits were great. I thought I'd found a good chiropractor to help my back issues get better. I went during a promo and the team was very friendly. However, I noticed subsequent sessions with Dr. Jeff would literally last 5 minutes and you'd feel as if you were being rushed out. Then I was given a paper with exercises to do at home which were not targeting the real issue I was concerned with. I still did the exercises. Went in to an appointment in the middle of a flare up with my back that had me in intense pain. I thought Dr. Jeff would be compassionate, listen to my concerns with my back and help me work through getting it better. He was so rude that day, basically blaming me for coming in only once a week and not exercising enough. He handled me like I was dispensable and showed no compassion for the pain I was going through. If that appointment lasted 5 minutes I'd be shocked. He moved on right away to the other patient on the other side of the curtain, while calling out to me from behind the curtain to make sure I booked more appointments. I left that appointment in more pain than I went in with and very disappointed in how Dr. Jeff handled me in a time when I really needed supportive care. When I went to the front desk, i was given the exact same exercises I was given the previous week. When I pointed this out, they seemed surprised. I was even more upset-like how do you not document treatment you've given your patients and their progress??? In sum, I have no insurance and I was desperate for care so even with how expensive chiropractic treatments are I was doing the best I could. I won't return to this establishment. Allied health professionals like to criticize mainstream medicine for not caring enough, operating like factories and rushing people out the door. However, this is exactly what I got from Bridgeport Family Chiropractic. Because of them I've lost faith in chiropractic care.

Dr Jeff is amazing. I have seen many chiropractors in my life and after seeing Dr Jeff for the first time I feel like my body is getting healthier. He doesn't just adjust your back but also helps you recreate your lifestyle to promote further healing. Also he and his family are just wonderful people.

I just had my first appointment today and I have to say how thoroughly impressed I am. Dr. Winchester is so knowledgeable and he is so excited to share his knowledge with you. He talks you through everything and why this or that is happening to your body. He doesn’t just crack you and send you on your way. You can tell he is truly passionate about what he does. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Incredible experience.

I've been under the care of Dr. Jeff for over a year now. I had trouble sleeping and had to use an inhaler before all my workouts. Since committing to chiropractic care, I've had more restful sleeps and fall asleep faster. I haven't used my inhaler in over a year and all around feel so much healthier. My husband and I have changed the way we eat, and rid of many harmful cleaning and personal products. Dr. Jeff is passionate about his care and always has something informative to say during every visit. My husband and I have started using their gym and workout there 3x a week. Dr. Jeff always seems happy to have us workout and encourages us to do so. Good environment, good for your overall health, good doctor! Thanks!

Dr Jeff changed my life for the better! Since I’ve been going to see him, I no longer have chronic neck and back pain. It’s also done wonders for golf game! I highly recommend!

Dr. Jeff, Linda and Mitch are incredibly passionate about their work and sharing their knowledge about how to continuously improve your lifestyle for the best quality of life. I have been seeing Dr. Jeff for over 25 years and he has eliminated my need for pain medication and has allowed me to live life as a 20 year old, rather than than a typical 50 year old. I recommend him and his practice to anyone with a desire to improve their life for years to come.

Leaving this review because Dr Jeff stands up to injustice.Jeff has been attacked by people who were lied to 6 months ago about the convoy only for us to find out in the senate all the lies the government and media made to make people brainwashed into blind hate towards normal Canadians.Jeff has stood up to this, and is on the correct side of history.Jeff was attacked for being anti science but 6 months later is in-fact correct with many statements, many doctors and studies later show he was correct,this is why today we need to be careful trusting mainstream media, and government as they have shown their little more than agenda and brainwashing.Thank you Jeff, my business will get in touch with you in order to remove some of your 1 star reviews and perhaps correct this situation for your company.
