Markham District High School
The building looks nice. So many of my friends told me it's a good school but I don't know for sure. I went there twice for a karate tournament, but I never really toured around the school. The only thing that I saw was that the gym is small.

This was a school that offered something more balanced for students when it was still a termed school rather than semestered. While it wasn't the prettiest or newest school, it had history and it was unique in it's own quirky way.Years and years of amazing memories were built for me with the old building and the teaching staff. From ducks in the small green spaces interspersed through the school to teachers that go all out for the Christmas assembly just because they wanted to, it was an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Markham District High School
We were here for basketball tournament with the Ontario basketball league for my son. The gym was well maintained, and had ample space for sitting. It did not feel crowded. Lots of parking spaces here on the weekend. Also lots of eateries in a surrounding area.

This is the worst school in all of YRDSB. The student body is fine, but the teaching staff is abysmal. I would advise all parents to keep their children away from this school if they value their child's chances of getting into a respectable post-secondary institution.

the boys restroom on the first floor near the main entrance has no soup. They should fix it.other then that school is good
