This is a restaurant that serves Haitian food . Had my buddy order from here and the food was very tasty. Located on highland Avenue, somerville. As at the time am writing this review theres no indoor dining only takeout . The staff were friendly but you will actually need an interpreter if you're not fluent in creole . I love the ambience of the restaurant especially the aquarium which you see as you enter the restaurant. Food took roughly half an hour to get ready. Apart from that its worth the wait.

Happy to update this if they follow up.Terrible customer service, poor interaction, messy facilities, but delicious food. Some items cash only. Most things overpriced, rice is a bargin though.Placed a takeout order for 2 items, and I get handed a bag. Tag says it has both items inside but there’s only 1. I call to get it fixed, they pick up but once I say the order/name they pretend to not hear me and hang up. None of my calls go through for the next 40 minutes. “Call failed”. After 40 and a break, I call and it works again, I get a quick few words from the guy confirming I know they hear me, then I say same thing as before and the guy says “op-“ then starts being silent again…

Customer service here is very unprofessional. Even though I was first in line the employee skipped over me to serve someone else. when I bought it to the employee, and the customers attention that I was here first in line, they continued to take the other persons order before mine. Didn’t bother to order. unprofessional and disrespectful

Haitian food restaurant. When we went there they were working as a take out only restaurant. That’s why all the chairs on the tables (don’t know if it was because of the holidays), and that’s why the food in boxes. But they let us sit down inside. Food is delicious! Prices are a bit high, $30 for the main entrées, specially as a take out place.

This is my favorite haitian restaurant. I love their food. Even when I was pregnant, their food helped me with my cravings. I live in another state, and I still make a trip to get some of their food

Food was charred & dry. This is primarily a takeout place. Person who took our order forgot to let us know when it was ready so we waited an inordinate amount of time for our terrible meal.

Home cooked style Carribean cuisine place with generous portions and quick service. Ordered their fried pork for takeout and it was ready within 15 minutes. In terms of food, pork was very dry and some pieces were very difficult to chew. Nonetheless, the sauce they provided on the side definitely helped me go through the plate. If you don't like dry meat in general, I wouldn't recommend getting the fried meat dishes from here, but other sides (rice and beans, slaw, salad etc) do go along well with the meat.

This is my first time trying Highland Creole Cuisine and I could not be more upset with my experience. From the initial phone call, the employee taking orders hanged up the phone so quickly that I didn’t get to check if my order was correct. That was already a red flag. I think reviewing an order with a costumer would have been a more the precise way of ensuring the order is correct.When picking up the food, the chef decided to make his way to the front to add his opinion on an order that was incorrect. The lack professionalism is beyond outrageous. I most definitely will not recommend ordering here to anyone seeking some Haitian food.

Very disappointed, chicken was cook for so long can’t even bite it, I ask for white rice they didn’t bring it,call the restaurant the guy on the phone put me on hold for 15 minutes than had a whole attitude while talking on the phone, never again will I order food there.
