Stogies Cigar Lounge
Stogies is a MUST whenever I'm in Montreal. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, lot's of sports on the TVs, and the air is well ventilated. Only drawback is there is no food, not even to snack on. Plan to eat before arriving.

A beautiful selection of Cuban cigars, and some new world as well (Honduran and Nicaraguan). To drink, a good collection of whiskies and scotch, draft beer, and coffee. In a cozy atmosphere, with extremely attentive service. In the winter they will offer to bring your coat on the upstairs floor to limit exposure to smoke. It’s also a very nice place from which to admire “Tower of Song”, the Leonard Cohen mural by Montréal artist Gene Pendon and internationally renowned American street portrait artist El Mac.

Amazing experience, good selection of cigars, and amazing selection of drinks. The ventilation is adequate to spend a few hours without getting choked out. The servers are Excellent, and the coat check worked well.

Wide selection of cigars and beverages available, keep in mind there is no food. Prices as you would expect at any bar keep in mind you have to buy a drink while you are there.Location is fantastic, in the heart of the city and very lively during the weekends, with a lovely view of the streets on the balcony seating. Lots of seating options whether its a booth, on the balcony or in the center tables with large comfortable sofas. Overall the presentation of the lounge is very pleasant, and moody.Staff is helpful and accomodating.Overall a great place.

Stogies Cigar Lounge
Whenever I’m in town I always pay a visit to Stogies. I have a great time sitting on the terrace people watching with a cold Sangria or enjoying a cigar and scotch chatting with the friendly and interesting staff at the bar.And if I’m not in the mood for a cigar I still make sure to check out the pub downstairs for a pint. Always a great time all around!

If you are in montreal and enjoy a nice drink or cigar, this is the place. I've been going there since the days of clubbing. Classy place with great service. If you can get a table out on the balcony, do it.

we were there a week ago. And simply wanted to enjoy a good drink. when we asked for a menu with drinks or cocktails they said we wouldn't really be able to see a lot on there, so there is no point on bringing us one. I myself worked at a few bars, and to me that was already kind of strange. But we were in a good spirit and wanted to have a good time. So my husband got his drink and I asked the bartender if he could make me a drink with tequila and lemon juice and whatever. I was literally just trusting his skills, but also wasn't expecting anything fancy. I asked for a double.I ended up getting a tequila with soda water, that's all he was able to put together lol. I had to ask for at least some lime/lemon juice. they charged me 48.- for this drink. I was honestly speechless. worst experience at a bar in my life.

Cash tippers beware: after declining to leave a tip on my credit card (with the intention of tipping in cash), an employee came over to our table and questioned why we didn’t leave a tip on the card. I explained I would tip in cash. The employee stated “I don’t care about your cash” and kicked us out of the bar immediately not letting us finish our drinks. Absolutely the worst experience I've had in my life at any bar.

Stogies Cigar Lounge
I stayed there for about 5 hours smoked 2 cigars. I bought R.P. Championship and one Edge that I had with me, ordered some drinks: a latte, a draft Stella and a double Bourbon Maker's Mark. Total of approx 100$. Bit pricey if you ask me but the ambiance was perfect, the service excellence (they come chance the ashtray when it's dirty and the waitress makes sure you are ok).I would recommend this place but bring your cigar because they area bit overpriced, no charge when you bring your own cigar.
