Excellent service here, with friendly + talented staff. The shop has a variety of items they create inhouse, along with a selection of items made by other locals.I would definitely suggest checking out this shop!

They do good work here, but it does take them a while. But that is more indicative of how busy they are. I had a 1950's West German coffee table that needed some love, and they really spiffed it up for me. Price came in about 80$ below the quote as well, which was a bonus.

We took six sturdy kitchen chairs to McAskills that were painted black to be stripped, stained and finished. They tested an arm and a leg so that we knew what they could look like and loved the sample. The price was by no means cheap but the finished product blew us away. The McAskill workshop also has a beautiful retail space filled with local artisanal products including woodworks and pottery.
