Linda Jones Studio

I began painting lessons with Linda Jones last autumn. I have taken many classes and workshops over the years, but can easily say that painting with Linda has by far been my favourite creative learning endeavour. Her instruction style forces you to learn the techniques by your own hand, and in doing so gives you the courage to try more on your own as well. I always think of painters when I think of artists (despite having experience with textiles, stained glass, and pottery) but never would have thought that I could learn to paint as well as I have in my short time since starting with Linda. Her critique is honest while remaining encouraging, and her laid-back reminder that its just paint" allows a wary beginner to take a leap

My daughter has been a student of Linda's for 7 years. Linda is a talented artist and an inspiring mentor. A true creative spirit.
