Mamma's Pizza
This place has some potential to be a good pizza shop.They have a really nice stone oven and lots of employeesI typically make my own pizza in my stone oven so I have high expectations for a well cooked pizza. But it sucks cooking pizza in 2 ft of snowso I figured I would give this place a shot.I was not impressed with the pizza here.The crust was a bit over done but the cheese was under. I have a feeling the oven hasn't been set up right where the bottom stone is cooking hotter than the ambiant temperature of the oven.I really wanted to like this place. But I can't get over the subpar cook on the pizza.I may give them another shot when they had several months in operation, but at this time I don't think I could go back.As you see in the picture I am not sure the oven is even on its so dark

Great place for a slice. Atmosphere is super laid back and intriguing. I did have family order a full pizza but it wasn't up to expectations when we found the pizza to be cold shortly after taken out of oven, some adjustments may be necessary to perfect your pies.

Mamma's Pizza
Ordered thicker crust well-done pizza. Pizza arrived with thinner then normal pizza crust, limited topping that were barely cooked and a burnt edge crust. Pizza was tasteless with little to no sauce or cheese. Disappointing for $60 for two medium pizzas with 4 topping each. Pasta was decent. Delivery took 55 minutes with the store being 3 blocks away on a Monday. Owner acknowledged issues and wanted to ensure I was happy in the future which goes along way in terms of good customer service.

I'd dock a half a star only because my order was slightly wrong (one topping was wrong and they gave me thin crust instead of their regular). It was my first time trying Mama's Pizza so I really had no expectations. What we got though was delicious. I ordered a pizza and wing special and the wings were spot on. I used their online ordering system which was intuitive and easy to use, so that was pleasant. It was extremely busy when I came to pick it up because it was their first week open plus a day before March Break, and it seemed as if people were waiting for a while. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt with my order as it does seem that they need to iron out some things before they become a well oiled machine. I will be trying them again for sure.Update: Second time ordering and I wanted to get thicker crust and put that down when doing my online order. The pizza was made thin crust. It was still delicious but I was a bit disappointed. Two half a stars deducted (half a star for each time ordered and there was mistake). I will try again, but I won't settle for less than perfect next time.

Whether you prefer pizza or other choices, there are several options.I cannot recommend Mamma's Pizza enough. The combination of the delightful owners, outstanding food, and impeccable service make it a standout dining destination.

Mamma's Pizza
We decided to order from Mamma's based on friends' referrals. The pizza was good - thin crust, sauce not too spicy, tasty toppings. We ordered it well done, and it was well cooked but not burnt. The delivery driver was super-friendly (I think she may have been one of the owners!), and suggested other menu items we might like to try should we order again (which we will likely do). Leftovers were good reheated the next day as well, which is always a bonus. Price is on-par with the other chains in the area.

Mamma's Pizza
If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out. It's simply oven baked deliciousness! Wings are always cooked perfectly and fall off the bone. The pizza, though I haven't tried everything, is also incredible and always perfectly cooked. The hot sicilian is a great pick for the spicy inclined, while the Tuscany Tenderloin is a great savoury choice for a meat lover. This is now my go to pizza place in the Durham region, hands down.
