Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered takeout sushi from here and it was the worst more disgusting food I’ve ever had. The rice was slimy and the fillings all seemed expired or dried out. I had one piece, and did not eat anything else, and unfortunately tossed it in the bin. Would highly recommend that your restaurant either removes sushi completely off the menu, or learn how to properly prepare it.Hoping I don’t get food poisoning from your sushi.

Went here last sunday with my husband and my son, it takes forever to have the orders. The glass of water is dirty. I think they dont even dry them before storing in the shelves or cabinet. Not happy with the food at all. Waisting of time and money!

I rated this place a one star only because I couldn’t rate it a zero star. We decided to eat here before our movie date. The staff was really nice , unfortunately the food was terrible. We love to go out for sushi and we have eaten sushi all over Calgary and in Vancouver. If you love sushi this is not the place for you , this tasted like the worst fast food sushi, SAFEWAY sushi tastes better then this( and I don’t like Safeway sushi). We were so grossed out with the first few rolls we ate that we had to cancel the rest of the order, we ate spicy tuna roll and spicy smoked salmon roll, the tuna and salmon tasted like it was canned and super fishy, and the spicy time roll had drops of franks hot sauce on each peace , not a good seafood taste or a combination of flavours , my husband and I couldn’t finish and could only bare to eat a couple pieces.We decided to pay entire bill as they had already made the rest of the food(but had not brought to our table yet , which they didn’t mind). But I will never come back to eat here. I don’t recommend this place at all , if you want to feel sick from sushi , this is the place to accomplish that. Not worth at all what the cost of each roll is. I rate this place a zero star on the quality of food they choose to serve.

The food is really good, very tasty and well presented. Very pleasant atmosphere and nicely decorated. Everything looks clean and in the right place. Good service and price affordable. The location is really convenient, just in downtown Calgary.

This restaurant is a gem. One of the best sushi restaurants I have been to and the best Miso soup I have ever had. Probably the closest to original Japanese sushi I have eaten in North America. If you want cold sterile safeway sushi you will be disappointed but if you want the real thing this is it in Calgary. Highly recommended, and although a little out of the way and in the less than inspiring Eau Claire market give this a try. I think COVID made life difficult for this small family now we and operated business please support this restaurant by visiting them.

As we were waiting for a movie in the complex theatre, I have mentioned to the server that we only had about 30 minutes, he instantly got us a table and suggested the quick meals from the menu. Amazing service and impressive great taste food. We had a Combo D and spring rolls. Delicious and fresh, despite the bad reviews I have read here I strongly recommend you to go with time and provide them a honest feedback if anything does not match your expectations. Let's support local businesses. Cheers.

The owners seem like nice people but man, the food was bad. The tuna was this gross dark purple/grey colour, the veggies were clearly frozen from a bag you’d get at a grocery store, and the teriyaki sauce was a strange thick texture. We stumbled here after a walk on Price’s Island and I wish we hadn’t spent the money.Edit: Since the owners were kind enough to respond, I will say that I would have expressed my concerns to them had someone bothered to stop by my table. Once they dropped the food off I didn’t see them again until I had to call out for them to bring my bill. But OK.
