Bamboo Chopsticks
From the out side it looks a bit run down but don't let that change your mind. The food was done when I was told it would be for pick up. The honey garlic pork, sweet and sour sauce, curry beef, chowmein, dry ribs had good flavor to it. The green onion cakes and egg roll were well done. They had the buffet going when I went in to pick my order up looked like a decent amount to choose from. Fast and friendly service even tho it was just a pick up order. Overall good experience

The food here is fantastic! Better Chinese food than anything I've had in Edmonton. It's not too salty or greasy. Ingredients are fresh, portion sizes are huge and prices are great!

Bamboo Chopsticks
This is a well established business that I have visited before, many years ago. Returning back, and what a disappointment. The food is so average and the worst of it all is that the fried rice and the noodles were so off-putting. The vegetables were not cooked properly inside the rice and the soy sauce is of poor quality. The noodles had no flavour. The lemon chicken had a slight tangy sauce but the chicken was poor as it was chewy. The salt and pepper chicken was a chilly flake chicken with a nice coating, not greasy, with a good amount of chicken inside. The beef and broccoli had good flavour with soft beef and crunchy broccoli. This is a comfortable establishment with very good service and excellent pricing but the food is very hit or miss and unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! I would suggest getting the Wongtong soup it’s the perfect amount of soup meat and broccoli ( even if your kids don’t like broccoli it’s soft and they’ll definitely eat that!). The owner/boss is very friendly and would like to give out recommendations. They also have some desserts and they are SO GOOD you should definitely check that out! Beat Chinese food ever!!

The food was good, just realizing on my one and only visit that I can't eat this food (sensitive to oils). Was really good and tasty, the staff was nice and quick to take orders.
