I dropped in for an open mat while I was in town for a work trip. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and it was a high level of Jiu jitsu. I would definitely recommend training here.

Ramtin is an amazing teacher. He has helped our son increase his bjj skills and his confidence in life. As a parent and clinical counsellor I highly recommend legacy bjj for kids and adults.

I have known professor Ramtin for 7 yrs now. Both of my kids and I train here at Legacy BJJ Academy. He's a very knowledgeable coach and a great human being. The vibe here is good, supportive team and we are all one big family.

An incredible academy to train Brazilian jiu jitsu. A very friendly environment with a great instructor. Students are encouraged to train at their own pace, for their own personal goals. The head instructor (Ramtin) shares his knowledge openly and pays attention to every student individually. Great place for both advanced and beginner students. Last but not least, they offer great classes for the kids!Highly recommended!

Legacy is a place for beginners, tenured jiu-jitsu practitioners and kids. Here's why:Legacy is a place for those of us who are interested in trying out jiu-jitsu for the first time. Professor Ramtin is considerate and caring and wants to help grow individuals at their pace. No throwing white belts into the tank with senior belts and seeing how long they survive.We're all here to help each other grow and learn while ensuring we take care of each other so everyone can go back to their day jobs the next day.Legacy is also a place for those of us who are tenured jiu-jitsu practitioners. I train here because professor Ramtin is a great competitor and coach. He knows that memorizing techniques isn't the way to become better. We need to be able to learn and adapt the underlying principles to execute under pressure. The rounds in the advanced classes are hard rounds where I get my butt handed to me daily but am given advice on how to improve in the next round by both my immediate training partners and professor Ramtin.Legacy is also a place for kids. My daughters trained under Ramtin as young children and they absolutely gush with praise about how they loved attending class. A pinch of technique, a pinch of fun and a pinch of discipline leads to kids sticking through the initial stress of having to face off against a training partner for the first or the fiftieth time.
