Mount Burgess Dining Room at Emerald Lake Lodge
We've been here 5 times in the past year and half and every single time the food, service and view are outstanding. My husband's all time favorite is the elk striploin and we also tried their Buffalo ribeye (pictured here) halibut, duck breast (pictured here) and all delicious & tastefully presented. We will definitely be back and continue to be a regular. Do they have vip membership? ;)

Had 2 dinners and 2 brunches here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to accommodate my multiple allergies, and the food was incredible. Only complaint would be how hot it was in the dining room, and how long the meals took to come out (over 30 min for an egg sandwich). The slow food service meant that at 3 out of 4 meals my husband was completely finished his meal before mine even came out.Really can't beat the view though!

We ate here several times with our family while staying at Emerald Lake Lodge for our wedding. Chef Valerie and her team did not disappoint, the food and service was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the buffalo ribeye and duck breast. There was a great variety of unique dishes available many which feature game meat. The portions were generally quite generous.My only constructive criticism was that the charcuterie board did leave much to be desired, the cured game meats were delicious but I would have expected larger portions and I believe the dish could benefit from some more variety.

My family and I had the pizza, bison burger, eggplant polpettes and grilled cheese. Service was slow and the food took quite some time to come out too. There was no host/hostess who greeted guests up front and the food overall was just OK.

4-5 for food, 2-3 for service of all staff but head manager. 4 for atmosphere/ambiance. Very conflicted overall with how to rate this dining spot. It's the only one open at the moment if you are staying at Emerald Lake Lodge. The conflicted feelings come due to service vs quality vs time. The food is great, there is no doubt about it and the higher price is reflective of it but the wait time can get pretty ridiculous (even with it's not a full house scenario), with wait times of over an hour. For the two nights and 2 straight days of meals (3 meals per day) here, found hair in the food on two occasions for two separate times for meals in one day. There wasn't much service except for a quick sorry and I'll let the back know. There was no offer to replace but to only take away. We were compensated with a free dessert for one meal when we complained about our food wait time when we ordered the same time as another table with also no acknowledgement or fyi for our table on the delay. But the other meal had no compensation of any sort or replacement. There is a huge staff changeover that occurs every 3 or 6 months here plus some shortages, so that much is understood but it is very inconsistent staffing behaviours. The main food manager/bartender was great though. The only one I applaud. Need more consistency and service waiters/waitressing and more care for (health/safety) hair in food.

This dining room is like nothing you have ever experienced! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! We asked our servers, Beatrice and Felicia, for suggestions during the two evenings we spent here. We ordered exactly what they suggested and nothing disappointed! The food was phenomenal! Just to name a few, we enjoyed the duck, beef sirloin, pork belly, elk striploin, chicken, many specialty soups! The cocktails were so good. We tried everything but one of the house beverages. We would definitely come back just for the dinner. Take some time and spend it at Emerald Lake Lodge and their beautiful Mount Burgess Dining Room.

Delicious food and excellent service. We had the onion pate to start and then the halibut and chicken breast. All dishes were well plated and presented and had a good contrast of flavors. Definitely make reservations as it gets busy and also ask for a table by the window so you can overlook the lake.

We tried the pizza, it was very okayish. They desserts were average as well. Over all average experience considering the price and service which was very slow.
