FIX AUTO AIRDRIE

I needed to find a place to review Fix Auto Airdrie. I have never written a google review before. I took my car in about a month ago to get a bunch of body work done. The estimate came in way less than what I was expecting and the craftsmanship is excellent. I am extremely impressed with the level of detail. So much so that I brought them my truck as soon as I picked up the car. Thanks very much guys. Colin, Waqar and Stephanie. Over the top.

I took my vehicle to Airdrie Fix Auto for a repair estimate because it was one of the businesses authorized by my insurance company. Staff were polite when I took in the vehicle, although it was the height of omicron and I wished they wore masks in their small lobby. Then it took them THREE MONTHS, with no explanation for the wait, before they sent the estimate to my insurance company.Obviously, I gave the repair job to a different business.Reply to owner's response: I'd be interested to know what hard-to-acquire supplies you needed to complete an estimate. And did you contact me to explain the delay? Did you contact my insurance company? No, you didn't.

Our truck was expected to be completed today, March 11, but upon checking in with the shop, we were told that it won’t be completed until next week (shop did not reach out to us ahead of time to inform us) - our experience with this shop has not been good since the start. We got in a car accident on January 24 and promptly reached out to our insurance company who then recommended Fix Auto as the closes to us. Our truck remained sitting in our garage for 3WEEKS (as we were told that the shop will need to complete appraisal and call us to bring the truck in for service) with no communication from this shop. We finally reached out to our insurance company who advised us that Fix Auto was suppose to schedule a time to bring our truck in, but they did not until our own insurance company reached out to them to give us a call to schedule a drop off. We dropped off our truck on February 11 when Fix Auto called. The lack of communication from this shop is ridiculous. We heard back from them saying that the truck will be completed on March 15, then again they informed our insurance company that the truck will be done on March 11 so we were asked to return the rental then. We shifted our work schedules to make sure we are available and ready to return our rental and pick up the truck. ON THE DAY OF PICK UP we were told that the truck is NOT ready. We were even given email confirmation to say the truck will be ready. There was no communication ahead of time from Fix Auto whatsoever about the fact that the truck won’t be ready. This is extremely frustrating on our end. I am out a rental if we didn’t have an extra vehicle (thankfully) and fix auto will obviously not cover this. I am not saying their work is not good, but their communication is lacking and they are inconsiderate of customers’ time. If you want to be put into a loop and not updated, go ahead and use this shop but if you want great communication and considerate company, please go with an auto body shop that is more professional than this. I am saddened by this experience as we’ve previously worked with other auto body shops that have great communication.

Had them do a body job after a collision. They got the parts in as fast as possible and got the job done quickly, the whole team was very professional and did a great job. Turned out fantastic. Done quickly. Gord and the team did a great job. Highly recommend them!Thanks guys!

Oh where can I start.These guys are straight scammers. We took our vehicle there after an accident and they decided to write it off. It took them 2 weeks to even get back to us and that was after we did the leg work of contacting them about what was going on.We then decided get a second opinion because we didn't believe the damage warranted it being written off. They wouldn't let us take our own vehicle from the lot.Once we managed to finally secure the vehicle 2 mths after the accident and get a second opinion that verified the vehicle wasn't a write off we found out that they threw out numerous parts that were still of use and took our license plate to boot.Fix needs fixing. Garbage company. Only looking out for their own pockets.

I have been in customer service for over 18 years and this had to have been one of the best experiences , I had to get my car door fixed because I was hit and the quote for $2000.00 less the the competitors and the service was amazing from keeping me up to date on the progress from arranging a rental for the time needed. The quality of work was impressive and when i got back my truck it was detailed (which it did't have to be) and shinning like new. I will forever be a customer and tell everyone Airdrie FIX AUTO was amazing.

My Truck went in for an estimate 7 weeks ago and I have called them 2x to find out whats happening. So far nothing, they can not even find the estimate. One star is generous.

Went to Fix Auto to get an estimate on some damage caused by a collision. Gord and Stefanie were both extremely understanding and helpful. Gord took time detailing the extent of damage and providing an overview of options. I had no problem leaving them the keys to preform the work. Just to show how willing they were to help, Gordon hopped outside to help give my other ride a battery boost since it had discharged. Thank you for a pleasant experience so far!

Horrible customer service... Lack of follow up.. Had to hound them to provide the quote and then to get I. To do the job.Was told Stephanie messed up the quote and was going to be more... Which is why they didn't call me back.Brutal..after that discussion I said I was given the quote and I understand a mistake was made... But why don't they just eat the extra $30! (yes it was $30).So I was told they had to check with the manager... And would call me back I. 2 days. (which they never did)I called so. Simplicity(formerly Speedy) and they got me on the next day at half the price!!Do yourself a favor.. Save your time and money and go up the street to Simplicity in Kings Heights.Great customer services and better pricing!
