Absolutely LOVED this little local restaurant. We were welcomed and seated right away. Three banchans came out (bean sprouts, kimchi and I think it was daikon) along with hot tea. I could not stop drinking the tea, it was so flavorful and they have a huge keg next to the cashier for refill. We ordered the bulgogi kimbap (waitress recommendation), tteokbokki (black sauce, also waitress recommendation) and the seafood pancake. The kimbap were so good that we order another roll and dipped it in the tteokbokki sauce. The black tteokbokki was great, rice cakes were chewy and thick, fish cakes were great and flavor was spot on. The seafood pancake was all right. It was a lot of food for two people, but I highly recommend just getting two kimpbaps and the tteokbokki for dipping. Will be back to try their stews!

I love Korean food so I try out many places around the GTA. This place was really nice. It seemed like a cozy, family-owned restaurant. The food was really good. I enjoyed their gimbap and spicy squid, especially dipping it in the sauce. The sides were really good, too. Their Korean Army hot pot was really nice as well. It was so filling as the portion size was huge. We spent a long time there trying to finish the food because it was so good.

The food was tasty and very affordable! I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was while still tasting good. We got the 2 kimbaps and kalguksoo and it was only $20. Everything is so pricey these days so it was definitely a welcome treat. The staff was also very nice and the restaurant had a homey atmosphere. They close pretty early and have limited seating but overall, I had a great time

This is my favourite Korean restaurant. It’s quite small - so you may have to wait to be seated. But it is worth it. I highly recommend the tteokbokki, cold buckwheat noodle and seafood pancake. The food is very tasty and I crave it often.

I ordered the bulgogi kimbap and the bulgogi for takeout. But was very disappointed. For the sizzling bulgogi, the take out portion of the food was extremely small (maybe like 1/3) compared to what I saw people eating there. I can’t believe I paid $18 for these. I definitely did not get my moneys worth. So beware of portion differences between take-out and dine in at this restaurant. It’s like they served me the leftovers of a dine in order. And as for the bulgogi kimbap it was pretty much the same situation looked smaller than what I saw other people eating in the restaurant too. My guess is that they use the containers as an excuse to skimp out on the portions. I’ll never go back again. I also read other reviews of people saying things about stale flavors on the side dishes and that’s also very true. Nonetheless, I don’t recommend ordering take out from here.

My go-to Koreatown restaurant because the food is very cheap and the quality is good. The portions are also large, I always end up having extra food to bring home. Sometimes the seating can get a bit weird when the place is busy, but this isn't a big deal. To avoid this I would definitely recommend a reservation but I'm not sure if this restaurant offers them. Definitely try this restaurant if you can!

Lovely local gem in Koreatown that has a solid menu of Korean classics. We had the cold noodles and bulgogi and enjoyed the food. The restaurant and food gives off a very home cooked local vibe. Prices are very fair. Their homemade banchan is very tasty as well.

Food here isn’t amazing, but it’s super well priced. We ordered the Gamjatang (pork bone stew), dumplings, and kimchi stew. The Gamjatang was really good, but the kimchi stew wasn’t very flavourful. It came up to around $34 for two people including tax and tip. Such a good price! Our server was really friendly and welcoming. We went at around 5:30pm and it was pretty quiet, but I’ve seen it get pretty busy around 7pm. All in all, would recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick dinner that won’t break the bank! (Just don’t order the kimchi stew).
