Stardust Motel

What a delightful surprise. I payed for a ‘cheap motel’, as I just needed a place to sleep for 7 hrs, and I expected a worn and dated room, and instead what I got is an impeccably clean room that looks freshly renovated with a comfortable King bed and an immaculately spotless bathroom with a deep tub that looks brand new.EDIT-Although my initial impressions of the establishment were very positive. After staying there I have to convey that I didn’t sleep very well because the walls are paper thin, and I could hear many of the other occupants louder than I would deem acceptable. In particular, in one of the rooms, the alarm went off and stayed on for several hours. It was loud enough to disturb me in my room. When I called the front desk and ask them to deal with this, the lady called back 10 minutes later and told me that she could hear it too, but she didn’t know what to do about it. This made my stay less than ideal.

It's a nice cozy place just at the Bedford Highway. The owner is really nice & the rooms are well maintained. Sobeys, and other eateries are around 10 minutes walking distance.

Great & friendly service. Clean & modern room. Only hick, you hear the outside and the room next to you since the wall are a bit thin

Absolutely worst motel I have ever rented. Horrible service and rude office staff. Motel front desk called the room at 10:45pm waking up my 4 year old son from his sleep, to tell me there was a noise complaint" from the downstairs neighbors! We were fast asleep. (They asked if I had an animal in the room).! Completely disrespectful and so rude not once but the front office of this motel called 2 times during the middle of the night for the same thing. It was the room next door making the noise. We did nothing to influence this behaviour from them and we were very respectful while we were there. In the end I had so much anxiety that I had to stay in the room all night with my doors and windows locked."

The room looked clean , but old and dated , The front desk staff were rude , take advantage of people in need . ( evacuation victims) Hammonds plains. I would not recommend this Hotel .

DO NOT STAY HERE- SCAMMERSThey pretend or fabricate that you damaged somethind and charge your CC. Lawsuit impending.

Clean room, air conditioned, quiet, free parking, professional and courteous service. I don't know what else would one want. Also, big fridge, kitchenette and did I say all of this for less than 130 cad ( booked last minute),

It’s a nice place : very clean and reasonable prices, the service is good. A little bit far for downtown Halifax. But worthy in comparative with other options.I highly recommend.

Left sign on door for room to be cleaned, someone came into room supplied fresh towels, left a toilet bowl full of piss, did nothing else. Other times I've left sign on door do not disturb they come in anyway. Some of the staff are really nice and helpful. Some are rude and nasty. If you find their service is really unhelpful and awful, leaving a 1* review will get their attention, so see if that works for you as well.
