This Edmonton branch carries the good reputation of the Calgary branch. Foods are cheap, lots of options, staffs are friendly and the location is great. The great thing about this place is special discount for University students. I will definitely go there again when I visit Edmonton.

Worst restaurant to get food. They do not have permission to cook there, so they cook at home and bring it to the restaurant; I am not sure how can you get quality food there at all. They do not know how to serve food to the table. The food was served in foam containers for dine-in. They find excuses if you complain and will not do anything to refund or give replacement food. Over all some of the items are tasteful and varies from day to day.

I have visited the restaurant quite a few times. I love their food. Also, the quantity they serve is quite good. However, I wish I didn't have to eat out of a take-away box or on paper plates. Also, the staff didn't seem very professional. But if you looking for some authentic bengali food you might as well try Utsav!! Totally recommend it!

Every single thing on the menu i tried was perfect. If you wanna try the real desi bengali food this is the place to go for sure. Keep up the good work and good food guys. Glad to have a bengali restaurant near me in edmonton!!

We thought of having dinner there, but the service was not upto the mark. They offered water in styrofoam cups! Most items on the menu wasn't available. However, we bought sweets and that was quite good. We will give it a try in a few months. Hopefully things improve by then.

So far I went there almost 6 times as this is one of our country's food restaurant chain where you will love to eat some of your favorite dishes . That's the reason I put 4 star but if someone ask me about the service I would say 3 out of 10 and also keep in minds that you have to take your time with you if you went there it takes time to prepare there foods sometime 20 min. Definitely you should give it a try I love the tehari and the halim family size . Oh one more thing that I wanna mention is there food taste is not consistent what I mean by that is the same food will taste different so you might not get your taste same as always, other than that it's a amazing place to hang out .

We tried Mutton Rejala, Daal Bhuna, Ilish Polao and mixed vegetable at this place for dinner. Next morning tried Paorata (quite big portion), Lotpoti and mixed vegetables. I felt like I am eating at a restaurant in Dhaka. The food had real Bangladeshi flavor which we really missed for sometime.Milk tea was very good as well. They served the food quite fast which was a big plus. I understand they have just opened the restaurant and probably for that reason they are using one time plate and glass for serving to make the cleaning a bit easy. But I would definitely expect a real plate/glass while eating at a restaurant.Other than that, their sweets are very delicious. The restaurant is very clean as well.We are very happy that we have two Bangladeshi restaurants at Edmonton now and they both are equally good. I would say go to both of them and try everything over there.

Food is quite cheap, the quantity of the food served is right for the amount they charge. The food is quite tasty, however I felt in morog polao, the quantity of rice is way too much for the less gravy and one piece of chicken served. Beef Tehri was the best of the lot, I felt from what we ordered.The dine in place was quite small, and the staff was also very free to attend to the customers. They serve in one time dishes, and spoons which can be improved though.Overall it's a nice restaurant to eat, but it's better to take your food and eat in the comfort of house rather than dining there.

Yummy Bangladeshi food. Good place.
