MacCoubrey Funeral Home

I am a funeral director employed by a funeral home in the Toronto area. Dear friends of mine local to Cobourg called me to assist them with a funeral. I called MacCoubrey Funeral Home looking for recommendations for musicians, florists, and to make a memorial card as the service was to take place very quickly. I spoke to Harlee, and I can't say enough about her. She was helpful, professional, compassionate and efficient, and the family were so happy with cards. I'll be forever grateful for their assistance.

My father in law passed away in 2019. We were a bit lost as to whom to contact and what to do when he passed. I remembered all the times I had been to a visitation here and gave them a call. I first spoke to Scott who made me feel at ease and who gave me a lot of information to go on. We had a wonderful lady named Cree help us arrange everything for cremation and urn and all of the steps in between. We were treated with the upmost respect and dignity and I felt like we were more then just a customer. She answered all of out questions and even helped us think of some things we didn't even think of.100% thrilled with the service we recieved!!!!

I have been here to say goodbye to a lot of great people in my life. The staff are so dedicated and wonderful! They to make sure everyone is accommodated with what they need. Thank you to the team at MacCoubreys!

Can't say enough great things about Adam, he went above and beyond what was expected and delivered on a last minute need for a engraved urn and delivered to cemetery, it is nice to see top notch service still exist.

When my grandpa passed they helped put on a beautiful service the reception area is lovley staff is great they are very caring and compassionate when over and beyond wih my 7 and made him beyond loved and comfortable would love to thank the one lady who worked there ( cant remember her name) for going over and beyond for him was very touching

Shameful paperwork" charges ($800) for a lady who passed at 103 and never worked in Canada. They didn't even notify the provincial government as they said they would as part of the $800 paperwork fee. Now I'm having to rectify their mess up. Money grabbers. Go elsewhere."

Years ago my husband and I decided we would have a green burial in Cobourg United Cemetery. When his death was imminent I phoned MacCoubrey Funeral Home in Whitby and Adam was most helpful. When David died everything was taken care of as per our agreement and Christopher was at the graveside to assist in any way he could. I highly recommend them.

When my grandma passed they were beyond helpful. Let me in to see her again before she was sent off for cremation. The service was absolutely amazing. Everything was set out so beautifully.
