We knew the nature of our venue would involve a lot of coordination – we had to bring in everything from rental furniture to catering to toilets – which meant we would definitely need some help.More than just help, Amanda was the key to making our dream wedding come true. She was always available to answer questions, so organized and just an all-around pleasure to work with.As for the design of the wedding, she was able to create a beautiful event that fit our styles so perfectly – and she did that by actually getting to know us as a couple and applying what she learnt to every little detail throughout the day. Amanda was nothing short of a god-send!!5 months out from our wedding day, I found myself overwhelmed by just the thought of getting into the details of florals, rentals, and whatever else was required to make our day look and feel like us. We enlisted Amanda's support for decor, design, and styling details and it was a decision I would make a thousand times over.After my first meeting with Amanda, the feeling of dread instantly dissipated and was replaced with what I was told I should be feeling - excitement! Where do I even start? We hired Amanda and her team for the month of coordination package for our wedding. We got married at Cumberland Belle which is a stunning blank slate DIY venue and we didn’t want the stress of planning a wedding ourselves, especially with the ongoing pandemic. Right from the jump, Amanda made us feel at ease and excited for the process and is one of the most positive people I have ever met. She has the gift of making you feel like you’ve known her forever and is very personable. Right from our first virtual meeting we had with her, We knew she was going to be great. Throughout the planning process, Amanda was professional, organized and very knowledgeable of the wedding industry and even picked up some of the supplies for us and coordinated with our florist to return vases etc since they had a styled shoot coming up - again, these little things helped so much with the little details that you may not have thought of at the end of the day.For our wedding day, Amanda and her team were absolutely amazing! They were able to bring our vision of our wedding to life when I didn’t really know what I envisioned. I had many odds and ends and she made it look so cohesive and breath taking. They worked efficiently and paid close attention to every detail. Our wedding was beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with the coordination from Amanda and her team. Even when we dealt with some hiccups on my end, Amanda and her team were able to think on their feet and fix the problem immediately and was able to do so without me even knowing of these little problems ex. I had forgotten to update my bouquet numbers and Amanda and her team were able to fix up a bouquet with the extra florals we had - the bouquet was beautiful and for very well with the other bouquets. We are extremely Thanks to the Sea + Silk team and our other vendors, it was just perfect and a dream come true. They made our pandemic wedding feel natural and We could not thank them enough!We are so happy we decided to go with a wedding planner. Even if you are really organized (like myself - fairly type A personality), planning a wedding is a lot of work and is extremely stressful - add a pandemic to the mix and it’s something else. As a wedding videographer, it is always so wonderful to see Amanda on the day of the wedding. I contacted Amanda a few months prior to our wedding in somewhat of a panic regarding the decor details and overall aesthetic of our wedding.
