Order some foods with dish called Mixed Grill as well. 1st the portion was too small as per dinner/large order.The tandoori chicken was uncooked even naan was not cooked properly.I am so upset.They really ruined my evening.

I keep trying to order from this location as I’ve had great experiences in the past with lunch buffet but the last two orders have not been worth it. Last time the food was just not great, but thought it was an off day. This time I had long black hair baked into my naan. I tried to give benefit of the doubt and ripped that part off and a second hair was in the other half. I can’t ever eat here again knowing they don’t take food safety seriously. Please invest in hair nets or other means of protecting the food from foreign objects ASAP.

We were looking for vegetarian options, and this restaurant did meet our expectations. Samosa was crispy and delicious. Kashmiri kofta and naan were cooked well. We will definitely try Non veg options next time.

This was the only place that was open and not busy on Family Day and I'm glad we chanced upon it. This place was wonderful and the food was delicious! I got the chicken tikka curry and my husband got the kharri curry. It was perfect for a cold February day. We will be back again.

This has become destination dining for us when visiting Victoria, for a number of reasons. The food is packed with flavor and consistently excellent, whether you take it mild or spicy. The drinks are inventive and delicious, and the bartender—who I believe either owns or co-owns the restaurant—improvised an off-the-menu version of a Manhattan for my wife that was as tasty as it was potent. Finally, the staff are attentive and welcoming, warm and knowledgeable. A hidden gem. Well worth a try, if you’re ever even remotely in the mood for Indian cuisine.

We had a fantastic dinner. The food was amazing — my husband said it was the best Indian he’s ever had! Kirn and her staff were friendly, engaging, attentive and helpful. We just wish we lived closer but we’ll be back whenever we’re in Victoria!

This evening I took my friends who are new to Victoria out for supper. Sizzling tandoor is my go to every time! All the options are flavourful and very filling and good for its price. Today Isabella was our server and was amazing! Isabella made sure we had enough to eat and drinks were full. Also was a great server to talked to whenever she was around the table.If you need a place to bring friends out I highly recommend this restaurant :)-Carter Dixon

We wanted to have something simple Indian food. We ordered Chana bhature and it was simply delicious. Taste was awesome. Service was good. Music was too loud to enjoy conversation. Tables has some sticky wax and was difficult to put hands on the table. But 4 stars for food taste and service

Tasty food and wonderful service. My son, who’s a picky eater, said that If there are more than 5 stars then he would give that to this place! We ordered coconut curry, Mango curry and butter chicken. All three of them are yummy and the latter is the best!
