Daan Go Cake Lab

I generally only buy small pastries and cakes from Daan go cake labs when there's a special occasion. Sometimes trips to the downtown and Richmond hill location when craving high flavored and amazing quality sweets. The items are exactly as they are described and sold. The packaging is very cute and colorful like the shop itself. I do hope that the franchise itself becomes a dine in café in the future. Although, they are a little pricy from $8 -$50 but it makes up for the quality of the food made. They have an app for new updates on cakes / pastries along with some discounts. Worth visiting and trying in the long run !10/10

Every piece is so cute. Love that the chocolate have just the right sweetness. My favorite piece is the cheesecake fromage-the tanginess compliments the white chocolate. I find that the caramelized pears in the ramen bowl too sweet.

From my experience, the staff at this bakery were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home, and I appreciated how accommodating they were even though I came in as a last minute customer.The quality of their cakes is truly exceptional. I was blown away by how delicious and fresh everything tasted. You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their craft. I also love the creativity on display when it comes to both the ingredient choice and arrangement of their cakes!Overall, I would highly recommend Daan Go Cake Lab to anyone in the area looking for a fantastic bakery experience. From the friendly staff to the outstanding quality of their cakes, this place really delivers. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delectable treats!

I’ve ordered 30 cupcakes vanilla and chocolate and Tiramisu. It was delicious cake is soft and the best part is the buttercream frosting very delightful and buttery. Fair price for cupcakes and the BEST part it’s FRESH. This is a special order need to order at-least 4 days in advance.

Ordered delivery of mango cheesecake and HK style milk tea for my wife's birthday. Delivery person was on time and very nice, the cake was as good as people said. Surprisingly the HK style milk tea was so good that I would surely go to their store to get one whenever I am in their area.

Their macarons are super cute and tasty! The photo is the Chinese New Year edition, very unique. Other cakes and sweets are so adorable. The price is in the higher side, but worth it for the lovely sweets!

The Gold Thorn durian is tasty but quite pricey at $45. A bit more durian would create a lasting impression.The Mango Passion Fruit ice cream is good. However, no ice cream should be mixed with sago/tapioca which became hard and ruined the taste. Its texture is for hot dessert.Loved the service and might be back for the Mango cake.

I purchased the pear flavoured Father's Day cake, as well as a set of macarons, which totaled to be $67.50, which is a pretty average price point in my opinion. I made a mistake with the date when I ordered and accidentally set it to be picked up on June 27th instead of June 20th, and they allowed me to change it after emailing, which was very appreciated. Other than that, there was no issue with the pick up - I had ordered about a week in advance. The cake's presentation was absolutely adorable, as seen in the attached image. However, in my opinion, the flavour was pretty disappointing. It was not very fresh and did not have much of a pear flavour to it, but instead had a strong nutty flavour, which I didn't like. The macarons, on the other hand, were delicious. Because of that, even though the service was good, I don't think I'd return to buy any other cakes. Maybe I'll try the other products.

They were able to accommodate me and take a last-minute cake order — they had it ready in 3 hours! When I went to pick up the cake, I saw these super cute macarons and just had to grab a box. I am so glad I did — the best (and cutest) macarons I’ve ever had!
