Mr. Lube + Tires

Last time this year I had gone to the Portland Street location for an oil change before a road trip to Cape Breton. I had nearly a 2hr wait for servicing. When they finally took me two men were working on it, they told me I needed to change my differential fluid as it was black and should be clear. Now I’ll be honest I know NOTHING about vehicles so I called my cousin who does to confirm if this is something I should do, he said if it’s never been done better be safe and do it. So I agreed. I paid over $300 for an oil change and differential fluid. Took about 45 mins for them to do both. We went on our trip and I noticed that my Jeep was dripping, i thought maybe it was from the AC but noticed it seemed to be oil. I took it to the mechanic to find out they didn’t close the oil pan properly, I lost nearly all the oil and that the pan was now corroded. Cost me quite a pretty penny to have it repaired and I will not be back.

Went in because I heard a clunk in the back and it turns out the person who put on my tires previously installed them incorrectly and a lugnut had come completely loose. They brought me in and fixed me all up free of charge. Very friendly and very helpful. Will be coming back

The young woman who served me was fantastic. She went above and beyond and is clearly an exceptional asset to your business. She probably deserves a raise. As a business owner, I know how hard it is to find staff who care, keep the good ones before they leave.

I was super impressed with my experience at Mr lube..they were very professional but yet comfortable and easy to understand,helpful and even applied a discount for all the stuff I had done...I was able to have tires changed over ,oil changed, all filters changed..and they were so friendly.....waited a short time was offered coffee..tea..water.. newspaper...I totally recommend Mr lube..I went to the old penhorn mall location.

I stopped at this location for an oil change, they told me that it was not required at this time. As I had 5,000 km left before I required the oil change, they stated that I would be wasting at least half the cost. I thank them very much for saving me money.

Great customer service, very polite and friendly. They explain everything so even I, who knows nothing about cars, can understand, and still didn’t try to upsell me once. Highly attentive to detail! 10/10 would come again!
