We hired DJ Sammy for our wedding in May 2022 and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Right from our first meeting over Zoom to get to know each other, DJ Sammy was immediately warm, enthusiastic and genuinely excited for us for wedding day. We could tell he truly cared about being able to help make our special day an amazing experience and it made our decision so much easier to go with Sammy. During the planning process, he was always very responsive with our questions, especially as we had numerous inquiries relating to the logistics of our venue and COVID concerns. He was easy to work with and flexible and truly did his best to accommodate requests we had. We were provided very straightforward and easy instructions with regards to picking music and it made our planning process much easier.DJ Sammy also came to our Rehearsal (which not all DJs do!) to assess the venue and location so he would be better prepared for the date. We really appreciated this extra step.On the wedding day, Sammy was able to set everything up early and had everything ready to go. Our music for the ceremony and reception were perfect, in terms of timing, volume, cadence and there were no issues. He was also super funny and kind to work with, and even snapped some photos from his phone during our ceremony of special moments from an angle nobody else had access to. He also nailed the dancing portion of the evening, with some fantastic picks both from our list and his own to get everyone onto the dance floor.We loved working with Sammy and highly recommend him to anyone looking to plan a wedding or any type of event!

We had DJ Sammy for our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic! Meeting up with him felt like meeting an old friend. He's super friendly, answered all of our questions, and was very excited to work with us. Sammy sent us a form to fill in our favourite genres, artists, songs and also what specific music was to be played at a certain time. He worked with our planner and MC in coordinating everything. We also realized a bit late that we probably needed a mic/speaker system for our ceremony. We searched around for options but thought maybe Sammy had a solution. We emailed him and he quickly replied that he had a system that we could rent from him.On our wedding day, Sammy came early to set up the mic and speaker system for the ceremony. After the ceremony he took down the system and went to the reception location to set up his DJ booth. He was familiar with the location so everything went smoothly.When the dance floor opened up and music started, the party was on and Sammy had everyone dancing. The music he picked was great and had people of all ages on the dance floor, even my dad whom I’ve never seen dance before! Sammy was even shooting photos throughout the reception and dance portions. We got some awesome candid photos of the night and even some videos to add to our memories of that night. After the wedding, we got several compliments from our guests about Sammy and the music and dance portion of the night. Everyone had a lot of fun.We were and still are completely happy with DJ SamFX. He’s an absolute pleasure to work with and we would recommend him to anybody looking for a great DJ.

Where do I start? Sammy was such a nice guy, the moment we talked to him, we immediately know that he’ll be our DJ for the wedding.Sammy was very accommodating and professional. I was so busy in the morning of the wedding, so I didn’t get the chance to say hi. By the time I did, he already talked to my officiant and MC about how they can use his mic and speakers.All the music queued exactly the right timing and made those moments so beautifully emotional. We talked about cutting the music by using hugs. But when my wife and I had our first dance, we were already hugging. But somehow Sammy was able to read our body language and cut the music when we wanted. I’m not saying this will work for you, but I just thought it’s funny Sammy read our mind at that moment!For the dance floor, I’d recommend give Sammy as many songs as possible. We only gave about 20, which might be little low. With that said, Sammy and our guests murdered the dance floor. For the first hour, we had young and old people jumping in and out of the dance floor. We also had Hindi and Korean music on top of western music. I guess what I’m trying to say is, give Sammy options so he knows what to play as he reads the room.I will be sending Sammy some of our wedding dancing videos, maybe you can ask him for the samples. But in terms of writing it, we love Sammy, highly recommended.

My wife and I were so happy to work with DJ Sammy at our wedding.He was very thoughtful, professional and enthusiastic. He was also so personable, fun and overall very easy to work with. I was surprised at how fast he was able to improvise for spontaneous wedding games that the bridesmaids planned (both of us didn't know about it).Of course, if you like to party, DJ Sammy provided top notch mixing and amazing song choice. The dance floor was bumping and all the guests had a great night.One more thing that I needed to add was how clear the music was. DJ Sammy provided impressive speakers and light set up.Overall, Sammy, you were fabulous. We were so glad we chose you to be our DJ for our most special night.Steph and Ray

DJ Sammy was an amazing DJ, he did our wedding this past weekend and after the event, our guests were raving about him. Great music, and fully met all our expectations. He even helped me with a few special requests for the bride and the surprises went flawlessly. He was also very easy to communicate with. In fact, when we had zoom meetings in preparation for the event, I always came out of it with good vibes and reduced stress! He perfected the ending of the night too, our videos of the dance floor at 1AM are evidence! I am recommending him to all friends and family, for weddings and any other event which need a DJ. My wife and I recently got married on May 6th, 2023, and DJ Sam was our DJ at our wedding! We got seriously lucky with all of our Vendor choices, and even amongst the great people we worked with, Sam was an absolute standout. As you'll probably see in other reviews, one of the first things you'll notice about Sam is his stellar personality. The man radiates kindness, and is exceptionally professional. He truly cares about you as his client and you can tell that he genuinely wants you have the best possible experience he can provide. He really outlined the entire process for us and made working with him a breeze, and better yet, left us with huge smiles and excitement with every interaction we had with him prior to the wedding. On the day of, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Every sound piece for every step of our wedding went off perfectly, and Sam has so good he even got the most introverted of our friends out on the dance floor out with us. We had such an incredible day and it absolutely would not have been the same without Sam, we're so grateful to have found him and can recommend with absolute confidence that he is the perfect choice as a DJ for any need. Thank you Sam for being you, we hope we get a chance to work with him again in the future!

Sammy was an absolute delight to work with. He was very responsive, organized and honestly one of the nicest people I think I've ever met. We provided a lot of good song suggestions that we ended up using for our ceremony / reception entrances. At our wedding, he was friendly to every single one of our guests and read the room very well with his song suggestions. He went above and beyond and took a lot of photos / videos for us to commemorate the day (see attached photos)I would highly recommend Sammy to anyone not just for their wedding party but for any DJ event!

If you’re thinking of having Sammy DJ your wedding, stop reading this now and book him before some other lucky couple does!We had the absolute pleasure of having Sammy as our DJ and MC for our wedding this December. From the moment we heard his voice, we knew he was the right person for the job!Sammy made the planning process so much easier. He was very responsive, helpful and organized in the weeks leading up to the wedding. He was able to get a good sense of our music taste and made sure that all of our music wishes came true! (He even played our favourite Croatian songs!) We loved how he was able to fade our first dances to the perfect length. He was even able to accommodate a live performance from one of our guests.Throughout the night, Sammy was quick witted, adaptable and able to keep a crowd of 250 engaged. Our dance floor was packed, the lighting was perfect, and, most importantly, everyone had fun!It’s been a week since we got married and the feedback we’ve received has been about how impressed everyone was with the DJ! Sammy followed up with us after the wedding to ensure we had a good night and shared the videos and pictures he took which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I can’t say enough good things about Sammy. From the first moments of communication he was always prompt with replying, kind, and professional. Even though he was not the main music person of the night he played exactly what I wanted, everything my fiancé and I loved.
