Excellent kebabs, the chicken tikka is the best I've had. The meat was very tender from being marinated and had rich flavors. Growing up in Toronto I had a lot of middle eastern food and this is the only place in Peterborough that really scratches that itch for me.

Ordered 2 chicken shawarma, both were delicious, made fresh, and were served hot. The owner is very friendly, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Water is $1, anywhere else water would cost $2 if not more. Enjoyed the food, the interaction, and the environment. Will definitely be back!! This is the place you want to be if you want a fresh, warm, and delicious meal.

Top notch restaurant, we will definitely be ordering again!I had the Chicken Tacheena and my Partner had the Spicy Chicken Guss. We just moved to the area and thought to try something different.We inquired about gluten & dairy free and we were assured that our order was compliant.

Had an amazing quick lunch at Tacheena! First time here, and will definitely return. Split the Falafel salad between two - was truly appetizing, made with care, and it was very fresh! Also had the baklava for dessert, had a very nice touch of spice (not sure which one, maybe coriander?)

I have been here for the first time. Very tasty food. Pure middle eastern real taste. Next time will go with family. No wonder why they have five stars. They deserve it.

Excellent Mid East food, very clean, food very very fresh. I went today with friends, hospitality was 10 out 10, we got mix chicken and authentic Iraqi Kabab, very juicy, server on top Rice with variety of salads, Hummus. Owner was very welcoming, we ended our meal with Baklava and tea. This place must be visited, City of Peterborough welcoming such place to have variety of authentic food.

One of the top 3 places for a bite in Peterborough, without a doubt. How did I just get a wrap and tacheena bowl for the same price as a Big Mac meal. Then I take a bite and the flavour, texture, and presentation are 100%. Unreal. Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey; 3 Michelin.

This is by far the BEST most AMAZING halal restaurant, not to mention the INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY owner in Peterborough!Me and my wife were visiting the town when we stopped at this shop - were greeted by the owner, who answered all our questions and suggested QUZI. It was so delicious and flavorful. The serving was generous too (enough for the two of us).Moreover, we were so impressed by the hospitality of the owner that we can't wait to visit his place again. Anyone, looking to enjoy delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine, then this place should be on top of your list!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. I enjoyed every single bite of the meal, the food was absolutely amazing – I ordered a Falafel plate which came with falafel, rice, salad and pita . Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a quick and nutritious meal. Absolutely the best Falafel I've had in a while. Highly recommend! 10/10
