Good in store bakery and everything you could need in a pinch. Bit expensive but save you from going into town for stuff. Saves the gas. Cashiers very friendly.

Wow. Paying double for a frozen pizza. I need to own a convenience store. You can get a fully cooked one down the street for that price. Well I guess that is why they call it a convenience store. We are conveniently paying for a extreme mark up.

My family owns a cabin on Shawnigan Lake, so Mason's is where we go to get ice cream, milk if we run out, chips for lunches, and candy when I was younger. Mason's has baked goods, a large and diverse selection of candy, and many flavors of good quality ice cream. Yes, even Nanaimo Bar ice cream. I grew up asking my whole family if I could have some money to go to Mason's and buy candy, and I would run a mile or two over to Mason's to get candy and the employees were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic baked goods, a decent selection of staples, and great hours. Most of the time you can grab the essentials here and save yourself a trip to town. Not dirt cheap, but not as bad as other convenience stores.Do yourself a favour and grab a banana-nut loaf or some fresh cinnamon buns. Seriously good.

Please explain why this is the price?There should be a law. I do understand there should be a mark up for being a convenience store but this.... Really. Anyone care to explain.
