LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

First time I was there it was early morning when they just opened. I was walk in, though there was line up but everything was pretty quick. Today I went around 9.30 am and wait time was around 35 minutes. Overall professional and helpful. The place looks clean. Please note that they close at 2.30 pm on the second Wednesday of each month.

This probably is one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. Standard blood work for autistic son. Called and booked the appointment and was assured that accommodations for kids with ASD would be made. Show up and not only did the front desk not know what ASD is, they booked my appointment on a day that isn't eligible for the blood work needed, and made me feel as if this is my fault and should have known better. Asked to come back. Fast forward to today, show up, advise of ASD needs, which apparently is nothing, as we waited in the lobby for close to 40 minutes as his anxiety rose and all prep for this went out the window. Never did get the blood work done as a result. Heard this was one of the best places for accommodating ASD and autism patients,, but I don't recommended going here is you are looking for the same. Also, covid safety precautions apparently dont exist here either, at least outside of the office where there are long lines for walk in set up in tight hallways. Poor experience all around.

Just left LifeLabs after getting my blood work done… Professional medical service provided in organized setting. Why am I rating your place with only 2 stars than??Young lady at reception has ZERO customer service skills! Watched her attending 4-5 patients in a borderline rude way. I understand you need to set the tone to be efficient in what you do and keep the flow of patients but you can backup that with few words like “ good morning , please, thank you etc.” Remember “ kindness is contingent”. If you don’t go to anyone of your rooms and read laminated placards on the wall! 5 times in a row so it sinks in…if not find yourself different workplace…

Probably some of the rudest lab technicians I've ever encountered, they talk loud and aggressively, they are very rude to anyone who has even a slight language barrier, they can see the person doesn't understand their question and yet they raise their tone and yell the question again with no effort to make the patients understand. I had to ask them fpr a cup of water and some wet naps and you would think I asked for their month salary. The lady very rudely told me there is a partition for a reason so I am not disturbed. She expected me to stand in a line with more than 5 people to ask for 1 wet nap, this is why this location is always packed.

Not friendly or helpful at reception. Bureaucracy is alive and well. They have a poster which says Kindness is Contagious. That has not yet reached this lab reception area yet.

I’ve never had a problem with staff/technicians always been treated with respect wait times vary pending on booked or walk in but that’s the chance you take

Just took a bus here with my 7 month old to find out this location closes early at random, despite not being listed on Google or their website.

Staff are a bit rough, but the facilities are modern and very clean. Long wait times usually.

Extremely rude, unprofessional staff at the life labs counter. Please do everyone a favour and work in a non customer service setting if you can’t treat people with respect.

Appointment went out but level of unprofessionalism from the techs/reception is unacceptable. People waiting for their appointment time shouldn't be privy to the staff arguing over when they take their break times, where completed paper work is set on the table or opinions around which staff or patients are taking covid safety precautions seriously. So uncomfortable to witness and listen to.
