Not at all the best place to work. When you finally get a job there after 2 days, they tell you not to come to work tomorrow without giving a specific reason but use the lame excuse that you have to work at a fast speed". Seriously

Having been in the Food Service Industry for the past 30 years, I've seen the best and worse of what supplier and their representatives have to offer. Thank You Deb, Amy and Jason , (London Fresh Start Team), for the jobs you do, for your great customer service and going the extra mile. Regardless if I'm calling in an order or not happy with a product, (which has happened on occasion) I've always received professional & punctual service, Fortunately, I've been a satisfied customer of Fresh Start for the past 10 years and will continue to recommended them to others.

I would rate this zero stars if it were an option. I've had an account with Fresh Start Foods for about a year with standing orders twice a week. They continue to forget my orders or give me overly ripe, nearly rotten items. For two weeks in a row, they forgot my order all together. After calmly informing them and giving them 15+ chances to redeem themselves, I think it's time I cancel my account and go back to Grocery Gateway for my food delivery. It's too bad for FSF, as I have an office with 400 employees, 7 kitchens and a twice a week delivery schedule. Worst. Do not recommend. Very upset with the customer service.

Probably not the best place to work.Inadequate training alongside cultural microaggresions from staff and employees.Small work ppl lace , and extremely unproffessional.The order selection process is very poorly managed .Management tend to speak down on you or say things to conpromise your work ethic.If you enjoy working at a place where cultures speak down on you. This is a great place to start.Also I've noticed that it may be either management or employees have means to access your portal.I've had incidents where my direct deposit information was erased. I'm assuming that this company does not want to be traced or associated with paying certain employees.It's a very asiatic workplace where you will be judged for what you eat.Inadequate and neglectful training.Wouldn't recommend it to others.Disorder and unorganized order selection process.You will be arguing with employees for stickers in a binder.Also management will deduct workable hours from your pay if you do not meet quota or if sales are not within there peak Interest.Also a very discriminatory workplace.May be suitable for others.

Worst quality, cheating price, you better not order to this company

I don’t even know where to begin. I have lived and worked in Niagara for the past 15 years and recently made the move to Essex County to run a kitchen.Fresh Start was one of the only produce companies that I was able to find that would deliver to my area. I had heard negative rumblings from the beginning, but things started off somewhat well.Fast forward, not even one year later. I had been constantly getting over ripe, if not rotten produce on nearly every order. I couldn’t keep getting this kind of product, as delivery days we few and far between due to the pandemic. I contacted the London office and emailed the manager, Debra Belford. I was completely ignored for more than a week. I also emailed the Milton office to attempt to get a contact for head office. No response.Then I was told that the night manager had been spoken to and it wouldn’t happen again. It happened again, almost immediately. Attempted to contact Deb again, and I was ignored completely. I spoke with my sales rep, and he did everything that he could to save the relationship and told me that Deb would contact me. Never happened. I emailed her yet again to get the number or a contact to head office. Nothing. My sales rep came to our restaurant to bring us an order that was missed and he assured me that Deb would send me the number of head office. Still has yet to happen. He told me that someone from head office would reach out to me. NothingI am doing everything that I can to attempt to drop Fresh Start as our produce supplier. The absolute WORST customer service that I have ever experienced in my 20 years in the industry. No one like this should be managing anything, period.This is my last resort, and I am hopeful that someone will see it and reach out to me. I have my doubts that anything will come of this. It’s a shame that they don’t seem to care to save an account that brings in thousands of dollars for them every year.

They don't value people and play favorites , so look for a job that won't play games or be dicey to you while they give rubbish PR about how they care, Spoiler they don't care at all. Management only cares about themselves and are more then willing to lie just ask the lead of Splits and production.

I have been working with Fresh Start as our supplier for many years in the food service industry. Their attention to quality and detail is fantastic. Their produce is fresh and always high quality and if by chance something isn’t on par, they are quick to make it right. There is constant communication with their representatives and they are always responsive to offering support. Tyler, our delivery driver is outstanding! He always ALWAYS ensures we are taken care of and checks the orders at the time of shipment. His level of professionalism and friendliness is fantastic.Keep up the Great work Tammy, Tyler and Team. We appreciate you and all your efforts.

One of the delivery truck(I remembered the license plate) cut me in order to get in line for a long queue for left turn this morning without signal. Your company needs more safety training for the drivers.
