Been coming here for years for haircuts from Emilio, have yet to find a better barbershop. Always the same great service at an affordable price. Highly recommend!

I am soo glad i went to Golden Comb. Maria gave me the best haircut. I have medium long hair and wanted to add layers keeping the lenght. Maria knew exactly what was required. I have been getting compliments on my cut. Plus shes also very nice and sweet. Had the best experience.

I have been a client for many years. I've always had a great cut, style and color. Maria knows what looks good on me. I let her decide on any new cut and color. I'm never disappointed. She never rushes me. The salon is very clean, the atmosphere is very friendly and professional.

I regret the day i walked in to this place. I recieved such a bad hair cut that It will probably take a year of growth and trims to fix. Right away the hair dresser (Maria) started by cutting very short layers so that it looks like a bowl cut on top, the left side is shorter than the right side. Over all it looks horrible.My hope is to save someone the pain that i have experienced. I will add pictures so you can see for yourself.

I have been searching for a new stylist, for the past few years, since my previous stylist retired after being with her 25 years.I have been to many stylists in the Durham region, in search of someone who could highlight, cut and style, my difficult hair.Not one of them was able to achieve the cut I was wanting.An acquaintance suggested the Golden Comb, and I have finally found the answer to prayers.Not only is Maria (the owner) very sweet and personable, she is patient and unbelievably talented at her craft.She is sincere and takes her time, with her customers, to ensure they are getting exactly what they want.I have definitely found my new stylist.I would highly recommend this salon.

I visited The Golden Comb for the first time today. The parking around the back has plenty of room. The shop is clean with a classic vintage feel to it. Emilio was friendly and easy to talk with during the cut. I'm pretty picky with my haircuts, but I was happy with Emilio's work. The price was reasonable. I will be a returning customer. I recommend The Golden Comb.

This was my first haircut in Oshawa and it was AWESOME!!! The gentleman who cut my hair took his time and often checked with me whether it looks good.. He did exactly what I asked for... Nothing fancy... Just a plain simple haircut with comb and scissors and then with the machine... Most importantly, he kept sanitizing and cleaning all his equipment after every use and following proper hygiene procedures... The price is quite cheap as well... Very friendly person and I am definitely going there the next time!!!
