Phelps Apartment Laundries Ltd

I live in an apartment complex and find Phelps Laundry is the worst, and also crooks.Tapped my Laundry card 3 times, for the dryer to workCost me $6.00 to dry one load !!

Terrible! Very often it doesn't work... More than once I tried to add the money to my laundry card and there was a connection error but when I checked my credit card they have taken my money! Incredible!We live in 30 Hillsboro avenue and we are seriously thinking of taking our laundry somewhere else.

Unreliable company and terrible customer service. I have made 2 calls on the washers in my building and never received a refund. Today, I made a call again for a dryer and the woman I spoke to said I will receive a cheque in the mail within 10 days but I won't hold my breath. Beware of this company.

Would rate 0/5 stars if it was possible. The terminals for adding to your laundry card almost never work properly and I've never seen a service person here in the 2 years I've lived at my building.

This company refuses to clean their machines and keep up with maintenance and because of this, recently I have lost over $500 worth of clothing due to it. They are refusing to take responsibility of their machines damaging my clothing, and are refusing to reimburse me. I will make sure this company gets not a dime from this entire building after this.

What is with these machines? It aint rocket science, guys, to make a bloody washing machine that WASHES!!! I've lost count of how many times I've had to phone/put up a sign because the machine failed to wash or spin dry. They charge enough for these things and yet they are constantly effing up. There's nothing more frustrating than to have to make extra trips, down to the laundry room, because yet another machine didn't operate properly and you open the door, and your laundry is WET....HEAVY, SOAKING WET so now, it will take two or three trips through the dryers, at $2.00 each, which they better include in the refund for the washer that DOESN'T WORK because if not, I will be calling them.Ever since our building switched over to these things, we've had nothing but trouble with them.

This company has the contract for the laundry room in the building I live in. I have yet to see a service person there. I have spent way too much time calling them regarding faulty washers and dryers, when I remember to do this and when I have the time to sit in queue until someone answers. They have older machines. The dryer screens are broken. They charge more for their machines than the building I used to live in, where the machines were newer and frequently maintained. I do not know why any property management company would use them when there are others who provide much better service. Right now my towels are hanging all over my apartment because the dryer failed to do its job and I'm out the money it cost me to use the dryer.

Terrible customer service I called as my clothes didn't dry well for couple times they said I have to find out options to dry clothes...and said bye. Just radiculous.

Horrible company!!! No regular maintenance done on washers or dryers. Cost way too much to do one load of laundry $5 for one load of clothes and because machines are not well maintained I have had to rewash clothes due to machines not wetting clothes properly and also stopping in machine so do not go through spin cycle. Then the dryers do not dry clothes, also dryers still run after they have stopped and blow all the lint at you when door opens. Monthly cleaning and maintenance on all machines would be a great concept since they get used by many people in a building many times a week. Wish my building had stuck with coins for laundry and just put a change machine in. Maybe time to move onto going to laundry mat for cleaning clothes.

i have used this companies machines for the past 5 years and have lost money too many times to count now, every time i have called them nobody calls back.When i have been in touch with them about faulty equipment they informed that i'd have to try and get my money back from my super.This evening everyone in the laundry room lost their money to these bandits.I will from now on be @ the laundry mat.Where there is an attendant.
