My overall experience has been impeccable and memorable, as a patient or visitor which I have been multiple times. However, I’m appalled by how poorly managed and disrespectful the volunteer department was towards a volunteer at one of the entrances. Whatever May have happened, that volunteer did not deserve to be spoken and treated with zero respect at one of the entrances. Disgusting! This speaks so poorly of their staff and how little they respect or acknowledge the volunteers who are putting their free time to help others in the midst of a pandemic!I sincerely hope that this review raises a concern for the hospital management staff. I would sincerely advice to think twice and put in your kindness and time to volunteer elsewhere that you’d be respected and appreciated.

Really nice view from the room I was admitted to. Food is actually good and you have choices! Also having a room to your self and a bathroom/shower is amazing. It makes you feel like you’re not in a hospital.

I hate this place. Ohh my good saw waiting room chair. Here the waiting list is very long and single chairs are occupied. All looking very tired and strained to us. I have entered the hospital at 4 o'clock and I am running out of patience now, my turn has not come. I had been vomiting and having stools for two days but no one cared.I really really rude person in a triage.

Writing this review only as a VISITOR. Visited my friend who gave birth and spent almost 12 days in this hospital. The hospital is massive, yet easy to navigate. Proper signage in English and French everywhere. Very clean and well maintained. The nurses were friendly and attentive. Parking is underground and multilevel, free for the the first 2 hours and after that $6.25. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops and a few gift shops as well.Based on my friends’ experience, I’m glad that when care is really required the government does provide the best quality of doctors and service to the patient.P.S - Hope whoever reads this review as a patient or friend/family is reassured that everything will be fine!

It's a beautiful hospital they have all type of specialist doctors, go to the adult hospital and the children because my child is in the NICU since May 2023 and I tell you that NICU is amazing and the nurses are just incredible I will forever be grateful

I have been here since 6:30am. It’s now 10:25am and still no operation??? Today sometime they say. Like my time isn’t important. I was out at 2pm for a 45 minute surgery. Nice staff it's the system that is all wrong in our province. The docs in the unit i was in need to take some sewing classes.

Very professional staff and friendly, this reflects in patients and staff as well . The Hospital is clean as well. They have various coffee shops and a main cafeteria that serves some kind of decent foods, sandwiches and full course meals. Nurses and Doctors are all very polite, including the cleaning staff. They follow every precaution and follow every rule.A big thumbs up to them. Author goes there for every medical need They are to be trusted and valued Thanks for your warm valued service.

Terrible experience in the waiting room. Waited over 12 hours with a cancer patient in need of urgent care was only seen briefly by a nurse after 8 hours of waiting and me going to inquire to see if we could get some pain medication. Others in the waiting room were in clear need of assistance - I do not blame the nurses or doctors. I blame the hospital, it’s hiring practices and the organizations financial decisions. Why have such an artistic looking hospital with the newest designs and such but have loads of empty rooms, over worked/underpaid nurses and not enough staff to fully assist patients in need. I’ve never seen such a sight for sore eyes today in the ER and the hospital needs to do more to find staff and actually do what it’s there to do efficiently.

The staff of the hospital are good but the follow-up policy is very poor. Even a month after being discharged, no call or follow-up appointment. Even after voice messages were sent, no response from the hospital. That is too bad.

My girlfriend and I frequent this hospital for our soon-coming child and although there wait times, things progress well with friendly staff. But that's at the regular part of the hospital. I'm writing because I got a viral infection and needed antibiotics, something hospitals have been prescribing for a long time to people who get sick, I see this as something relatively straightforward, get viral infection, see doctor, get tests, get prescription, although I guess since COVID it's gotten more complicated. But the kicker is they put the blood test in the urgent care. To begin; I saw a nice greeter to the hospital named Beckie who when I explained I wasn't dying but I wasn't getting better, that I shouldn't be occupying seats of actually dying people, she agreed, pointed me to the chest and lungs section. I went there, it made sense, they should be able to help, i already had my xrays from the queen elizabeth hospital, should be fast. Very friendly staff meets me, tells me I have to go to urgent care before I can get a doctor in that section because the queen e said to go to urgent care? I went to urgent care. The triage nurse Eduardo was very nice, did his thing. I waited 7 hours, there were at least twenty five people there before I arrived who still hadn't been seen, one who had been seen 4 hours into my wait for her blood test and then just went back to waiting for the results. There was an elderly man with bad knee that left, hobbled out, cuz he knew he wouldn't be seen (I know cuz I spoke to him), there was a woman with broken face who was stressing hard because she couldn't smoke cuz of the pain who'd been there 30 minutes before me- and she's trauma. That's a higher priority than viral infection blood test. When I realized how long she'd been and was going to wait, I realized I'd not be seen for at least another 12 hours- IF nobody else comes in with higher priorities. And I just left. There is no service here and management has issues. If you are missing resources in a specific area, don't send every little problem to that specific area. There's an area dedicated to blood tests, they must have passed hundreds during my wait, take each not-dying urgent care needing a blood test, send them to the blood test area with a urine container and see other doctors. They'll get served quickly, and that's the point of urgent care. Guy with busted knee couldn't see any specific area of the hospital for that sort of injury? Mr. Broken Foot neither? There's no doctor in Montreal's Super Hospital that can't take pressure off of the urgent care ward so people with actual urgent care needs can be cared for? There's not two nurses out of the entire mega hospital that can cover for missing urgent care nurses for a shift? I feel like urgent care is a teenager's messy room corner where they just throw everything they don't feel like dealing properly. But after 7 hours of listening to one elderly man yelling wellooo" from a gurney they kept moving around
