Took a 100 year old mantle clock to Mark Jakubiak. The clock had been handed down in the family for several generations. Had not been properly cleaned or lubricated in anyone's living memory. Clock was stored in a basement for many years, collecting dust and not running. Some holes in the brass plates had worn into elongated shapes, so the gears that went into the holes where not positioned properly. Can a clock in this condition be restored? Mark said yes, and at a reasonable price! Mark disassembled the clock; replaced the main springs; put bushings in the elongated holes; cleaned and lubricated; adjusted and set timing. The clock now sits confidently on the mantle, keeping perfect time, announcing the hours with a pleasant gong. Thank you Mark.

I wrote this post much later after my clock was repaired. March 2020 my grandfather clock had completed stoped working. Tick Tock came, took the workings away and refurbished it. Now works as new. Fantastic service, excellent work. I highly recommend Tick Tock.

Mark is an independent clock repair guy in Peterborough and surrounding area. He does work on all sorts of clocks.I brought a broken mantel clock here and Mark did everything he could to restore the clock back to new, and try to do it the cheapest and easiest way the whole way through.
