Queen Elizabeth Meadows Park
This is very nice park. It is very walkable and has a paved walkway from one end to the other. There are also some nice treed areas that offer good shade. Another feature is a well-kept community garden that is managed by a non-profit group with support from the City.

Went there with my dog for the first time today. Nice large open field with a paved path that cuts diagonally through it. Much of the grassy area was very marshy, so you might want to avoid walking though it in early March if you're not wearing waterproof shoes! I read that the city wants to put a dog off-leash park here. I truly hope they do, as I'd be more comfortable throwing the ball for my dog if it was properly fenced in.
