We went to Sugar Roll in Dieppe, NB for dinner on July 9th, 2023.This review focuses on the food excellence and the outstanding flavors that truly made this visit worthwhile.We walked for 25 minutes to reach Sugar Roll on a scorching 30-degree day. Upon arrival, we were seated by the door without water or a menu for ten minutes. However, despite the servers being busy, they provided attentive service after the initial delay. As a foodie and a reviewer for @chowhoundgta on IG, we typically give a restaurant one chance to get things right, and they certainly did.The sushi at Sugar Roll was outstanding and undeniably the highlight of our experience. The Volcano roll and Dynamite rolls were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and had a perfect texture. Similarly, we found the Tonkotsu and Bulgogi ramen to be delightful, offering a harmonious combination of taste and texture. We enjoyed all this deliciousnesses with a Sapporo draft.The place was bustling with patrons, customer pickups, and meal delivery services, which is a clear testament to its popularity and demand.We can clearly see why Sugar Roll has garnered such praise and patronage. Despite the initial seating mishap, the remarkable sushi and other dishes more than made up for it. We highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.

I hate to do this but firstly I would like to say the service was good and the sashimi was perfect. That said, we ordered spicy salmon and tuna rolls. The tempura bits in the rolls had gone off. Tasted of rancid oil. We could barely taste it in the spicy tuna as we were dipping them. They did not charge us for the spicy salmon but this left us feeling quite sick for the rest of the night. Happy Anniversary I guess....

We experienced ramen, jjamppong, calamari, and various types of sushi. It wasn't bad. Sapporo draft beer was so good.

I've come here multiple times with my friends and family they always have great service and better food. I definitely recommend the yam tempura and the Yakisoba. But none of the people I've gone with have ever said anything negative about the food. Definitely recommended I will drive 2 hours just to eat here.Great prices and big portion sizes.

10/10 would recommend. i really liked the environment, although it was a bit cold. the decorations were really nice, they even had glass tables with nice decorations inside! unlike other restaurants, they don’t put a bunch of ice in the water which makes it easy to drink. the food here is really good, at least from what i’ve tried. they even made a cute little heart with the rice. the bathrooms are nice and clean and the chairs are comfortable. the photos below will show a few things i’ve talked about. thanks for reading my review!

The server is always very friendly and attentive. Service is fast! We didn’t wait long for our food at all. Definitely my fave sushi spot in dieppe! Highly recommend. Super tasty!

We had an incredible experience. Exceptional service and the food was absolutely delicious. We didn't even need to ask for water refills, if we got low they'd come and refill it for us. We're definitely coming back!
