The Mustard Seed Shelter

Staff are terrible. Lazy and will try their best to not help you. They treat you like a burden when all they preach is Respect and Kindness...the meals are good. But they pick and choose who they treat with respect.

The people do not care about the safety of the guest at all. A sick person was literarily sent out in the middle of the night for what, just because I wasn't on my mat. I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my enemy. Please everyone should beware of this place. At first it looks great but when you get in, then you will get to see their true and real colours. If I am to recomend a shelter, I would recomend the Alpha House the this useless place.

Great Place During Emergency Situation, however be warned of crazy, unprofessional staff in yellow shirts, they lack certain commonly found humanity! Made my stay unnecessarily difficult to say the least !

Staff and Volunteers r super friendly and full of compassion and love. The clients r friendly and grateful to one another. It was a pleasant stay when I needed the warm place to be, decent night sleep and 3 wonderful meals a day.. thank u mustard seed

I'm on a waitlist for hip surgery on disability and gave up my rent.The workers are knowledgeable and accommodating.The food is decent and they can help meet dietary needs.It's fairly clean and there's a good sense of community.The pastoral care is good and there is much compassion.Thanks to Jesus Christ and Mustard seed for providing my needs

Out of all the shelters I've been to, the Mustard Seed was the quietest and actually the safest. I've been a frequent flyer at the DI for a couple years and going to the Mustard Seed is a huge break from all the craziness downtown.Zero tolerance is great and you can actually leave your stuff charging in the open and nobody bothers them. Sad thing is you have to clean the bathrooms and showers in exchange for laundry and for females it's one person a day.The staff were all very kind and patient every time I've been there. They are happy to answer all your questions and direct you to the right services.It has a schedule and they go by the schedule which is great, you always know what time things are happening.It's an okay place.

A great place. I had the opportunity to volunteer with my church, and I can tell anyone this place has done a lot for those in need. Ppl.of every difference race, color, size, and personalities were present. I will definitely continue to serve this noble organization. Keep of the good work of being our neighbor

Very Useful And Helpful Staff Consistently Doing Their Best Dealing with All Alike And To Recover From Any Damaging Situation Or Condition They May Be Struggling With Beginning With Addiction Management. Twice A Day, Morning And Evening - When You Are In YOU ARE In.When You Are Out You Are Out. This Is Helping Many Recover Quick By Choosing To Stay In.

...I do appreciate so much, the 'kitchen crew' who are wonderful providers of hot, nutritional meals & like the Bible story of the 'loaves & fishes', they just keep it coming...I love the Bible studies...other forms of counselling is available if you are in need ...the shuttle bus to 102 Clubhouse is a great provision...fun programs @ 102 & the best coffee & lunches...Mustard Seed is very complete in services...comfy bedding, hygiene products; locker space for your valuables...Mustard Seed saved me from freezing to death last month...this month I also have a crisis mid-month with a shortfall in income...without Mustard Seed I'd be a 'goner' ...I wasn't well enough to volunteer as I had planned...it's important to help out...& as the Bible says, 'become not weary in well-doing'...serve joyfully...although I've known plenty of hardship, it was still culture shock in the urban City & to realize the number of homeless people...always express deep appreciation for kindness & care...I was so shocked at the number of complainers...do your best to maintain harmony ...be kind...be mindful...
