Absolutely horrible experience. Completely unprofessional. I told her I want to book her for the event and had to chase her down to talk about the kind of cake I wanted. I didn't mind this so much, as I had already confirmed her for the event.When I did speak to her and wanted to discuss options for the cake, she told me a million times how busy she is and was not helpful. She messaged me on the Wednesday telling me that she needed to have all the details for the order by Tuesday... which was the day before. If you need all of the information by a certain date, it is YOUR job to make sure you ask for it in advance and NOT tell the client the day after you need the information.I was still compliant. I asked her for options to make the cake bigger and add more things to it, but she said doesn't have time for it. I offered to send her pictures of things that we can add on top of the cake to make it look fuller, and again she said she doesn't even have time to look at the images because she's so busy. MAKING TIME TO LOOK AT PICTURES FOR 2 MINUTES FOR A CAKE A CLIENT IS GOING TO PAY YOU FOR is very normal, especially after a client confirms they want you for the event.Anyways, I was still understanding and agreed to keep the original design with no changes to make it easy for her.Two days before, my sister was not feeling well and I was not sure if we would have the event. I figured she had already bought the stuff for the cake but probably not baked the cake yet.... I simply asked what the protocol was if we need to reschedule for another day if we had to reschedule the cake....Keep in mind I was willing to pay for the cake if she had mentioned she had already baked it or pay something to reschedule to a different date....BUT..... this lady flat out said she can't do the cake and stopped responding to my msgs... 1.5 days before the event. To find a new cake person in that time frame is stressful at the least. For her to ignore a client because they simply asked a question? Ridiculous.If you can't handle the workload, don't take the order.Please learn how to ask for the information you require in a timely manner and learn to make time for the client's questions.And learn some customer service. To ignore a client that simply asked a question? Disgusting.
