Great place to take your dog if you need daycare. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. That's my dog Griffin definitely had a good time and the pack of dogs there I notice to all be comfortable with each other and friendly. Has somebody in the dog business I would definitely feel comfortable leaving my animals in their care.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.We Booked an appointment for a Saturday almost one month prior due to their busy schedule and due to our busy work schedule during the week. Coming from the Niagara region we thought we would try this groomer over a private place because we thought they would be more organized and take good care of our little puppy. We had an appointment for 2pm today, got a call at 10:30 to let us know the groomer called in sick. I understand that people get sick, but shouldn’t a backup be available? And then to make matters even more lovely, they don’t have availability in Burlington for a month from the initial appointment.

Extremely disappointed pet parent- my dog was bitten by another dog today and the staff treated it as a minor small injury and lacked empathy that I was a concerned pet parent. Took my dog to the vet for emergency consult and treatment- $400. Dogtopia has a pet parent agreement that they other parent is responsibility. I wrote an email to the GM- waiting for response.Overall service has deteriorated over the last few monthsPricing has gone up. For premium pricing I expect the dog coaches to attend to the dogs and not let incidents like this happen. I asked for the video footage to see exactly what happened- waiting to hear back.Very very unhappy and disappointed

Extremely disappointed with the customer service of this company. I brought my dog here in hopes of providing her with a fun and safe environment... Unfortunately it was not a good fit for my dog and I made the decision to cancel. Upon advising Dogtopia of my cancellation they advised me of the 8 week minimum that I must bring my pet. Upon registering I discussed with a team member the scenario of it was not a good fit for my pet could I cancel without penalty I was advised It shouldn't be a problem they are very accommodating". Nothing could have been further from the truth. I discussed with them how my dog was showing extreme signs of anxiety such as shaking and relentlessly pulling and crying not wanting to go the facility. Dogtopia was aware prior to my cancellation of these signs and advised that their solution was for me was to "bring her more frequently". I was not happy with this solution and advised I would not be bringing her more often due it not being feasible

I don’t know what happened to this place… maybe they got new staff or too many dogs now but things have changed in the last 5 months… I have an American Bulldog. She’s 2 years old. My dog (and I) loved it! She is a happy full of energy puppy. But her energy level has always been the same… after 3 months of everything being fine, it’s suddenly a problem and she’s sent from the playrooms to a suite by herself (this has now happened on several occasions) Then she’s not even tired after a 6 hour day… I'm not impressed.

Amazing daycare. Safe, clean and friendly staff.I tried the two daycares in Burlington and unfortunately my dog had very bad experience in one of them. It's very unsecure and unsafe to leave your dog in either.

Panda has been boarded a couple of times and goes to daycare. He is well looked after during his time at Dogtopia and the staff sends updates while being boarded to let me know how he's doing. I never have to worry about him while I'm gone for several days. Staff love their jobs.

i've brought my dogtopia multiple times and was truly disappointed with the boarding and the lack of customer service and overall care as wellthe dogs should be treated in a safe and respectful way and have a comfortable stay and would not recommend

This is a great place to take your dog. The staff is super friendly and love the dogs. I really love this place and so does my dog. With that said I wish I could still take my dog there. Head office has decide to eliminate the pass policy (Dec 31 2022) and forcing customers to commit to an enrolled number of days a week. This will probably be good for the company as they will get constant guaranteed income. But for customers that like the ability to maybe take their dog once a week or maybe 3 times based on their work schedule or skip a week this new policy sucks. I wish people/ companies weren’t so consumed these day with robbing everyone that wants to use there services products.

I think this is an okay choice for those who don’t have other options for their pets (since there are very few choices unfortunately) however after my experience with sending my puppy here, I made the decision to stop using Dogtopia and found a better fit for us. I found my puppy really was not comfortable there, I watched the webcams all day the first day and every so often the second time and he sat in the corner the whole time not wanting to engage with the other 10+ dogs in the room. While I understand it may take time for a dog to warm up, when I went to pick him up the woman who brought him out to me said he played all day and had so much fun. I didn’t appreciate being misled on how my dog did, and would have preferred honesty and recommendations to give it another shot as he may need time to warm up. With that being said I don’t think this setting is for every dog and they should be honest when that’s the case because you are setting the dog up for failure and ultimately potential issues. I was still willing to give it a shot and see if he warmed up to the environment however the second time I sent my puppy I saw the trainers in the room physically dragging him over to “encourage” him to socialize, he immediately turned around and went back to the corner afraid. Dragging a puppy over to the middle of 10+ hyper dogs when he is shut down mentally was extremely surprising to see. If your dog loves to play and this is a good fit that’s great but I think a place claiming to be trained properly with dogs should understand the importance of being honest when it comes to dogs who are not cut out for that environment and should never drag a puppy over in order to force it to play. I also provided this feedback a few months ago to Dogtopia via an email requesting feedback but received no reply.
