Barrier Bay Resort

Our stay was amazing and we had so much fun. The cabin #6 was sooo cute and cozy! Everything worked well and it was very clean.They also have complimentary bikes, paddle boats etc so many options to choose from! The owners were very friendly and nice. Their customer service is top notch! Would definitely recommend this place :)

A gorgeous backdrop to an amazing weekend retreat. Our cabin, the Chickadee Haven was so quaint and the perfect size for us. The owners were simply a delight, so helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to heading there again next fall.

Barrier Bay Resort is paradise in Whiteshell Provincial Park and was the perfect introduction to this area. Swallow's Nest - Cabin 3 was cozy, spotless, and had a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed canoeing during the day (which is one of the activities that's complimentary for resort guests) and fires in the evening. The resort is also reasonably close (anywhere from about 10 minutes to an hour drive) to explore the breathtaking views of several hiking trails, including the Whiteshell River Bridge/Sturgeon Falls, Pine Point Rapids, Pinawa Dam Ruins, McGillivray Falls, and Hunt Lake (to West Hawk Lake). DJ and Erica were wonderful hosts, and I can't wait to go back! ❤️

I won a nights stay at Barrier Bay Resort and it was amazing there! They have snow shoe rentals and a trail on site, jacuzzi tub in the room, king size bed, full kitchen, screened in sun room for the summer as well. The on site gift shop and store was great, got a few items there and they support local makers!

Erica and DJ are two of the kindest people that we know!They strive to give their all when welcoming people and showing us all how to enjoy life!We consistently have had a peace filled and comfortable stay at any of their cabins ( and we have stayed in them all!).

Wonderful escape not even a two-hours drive from Winnipeg. We absolutely adored our time in Cabin 6, “Chickadee Haven”. Wood fire place, jacuzzi tub, stunning view, couldn’t have asked for more! The owners are incredible friendly and loan out gear to help you maximize your enjoyment of the winter wonderland they are situated in. Would recommend this place in a heart beat! The cabin was clean, well maintained and all the details were well thought-out. Can’t wait to go back!

Spent the most relaxing weekend with my partner there. Great location, cozy cabin, close to a lot of trails, and the owners were incredibly nice and helpful. Will be telling everyone to go here!

Been here a couple of times already, and my girlfriend and I love it. The owners are amazing, cabins are modern, clean, comfortable and relaxing, and the view is awesome. They even borrow you bikes, kyacks, pale boards and canoes while you're there and all are a blast to use. We'll be going back for sure.

We had an awesome time during our stay in March. Me and my wife were looking for a weekend to escape and relax and I'm glad we chose Barrier Bay Resort to do that! It was awesome! DJ and Erica are the best owners, very friendly, easy to talk to and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. If you forgot something or didn't pack it, the store has most things you would need. We left feeling re energized and rested, thanks again! Can't wait to book another trip.
