Freewheeling Adventures
We have now completed 5 trips with Freewheeling Adventures including Canada, Japan and Europe. Each of these trips was a wonderful experience made better by the guides and home office staff who are truly emotionally engaged to not only “provide a trip” but better yet to “develop a relationship”. The common bond is a love of cycling and a desire to humbly experience local wherever your trip should take you.

We have traveled multiple places ranging from Newfoundland to Albania with Freewheeling Adventures and every time came away simply delighted. The routes were thoughtfully designed to avoid traffic and provide marvelous scenery, the accommodations were marvelous and the guides engaged and always helpful. And then there is the food! We are going to cerebrate the end of COVID-19 shelter in place" with another trip."

I cannot express enough thanks to Philip and the team at Freewheeling Adventures. They put an itinerary together for me when I couldn't find anything else that worked, took care of all the details, booked some lovely accommodation, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. The bike was fine and their route suggestions were really helpful. And on top of all that, they were all lovely people too! I definitely recommend them and will look out for opportunities to holiday with them again - somewhere in the world! Thanks for helping make my trip to Nova Scotia so special.

We had an absolutely fabulous trip to Norway in June 2022. The guide was excellent, the food was good, the scenery was very nice and it was fun to see some of the culture surrounding the way they catch and cure cod. Another wonderful Freewheeling trip.

Freewheeling Adventures
We are new to the area. We wanted to rent bikes and source a guide and kayaks to explore the local area. Phillip connected us to Jeff as a kayak guide and we had two excellent days exploring the area. The bikes that Phillip provided were excellent and fully equipped with spare tire, locks, water bottles, vest etc. We will continue to use this service in future years and I highly recommend Freewheeling for anyone that wants equipment or expertise in the area.

We have done a number of cycling trips with Freewheeling Adventure, last year we rode the Cabot Trail, fabulous guiding, excellent support, wonderful meal preparations while on the road. Everything is very well organized.

I didn't go for a guided tour, but believe me I will. Some quick-response emails told me everything I needed to pick and customise the right bike to rent for some touring around Nova Scotia. I love their large stall of Trek FX 7.4 and 7.5 in prime shape; they take the Cabot trail hills without any problems. People who see their water bottle when you're touring often say - Oh
