Chateau Nova Kingsway

The floor we were on, the 3rd floor, smelt awful, like rotten meat, I'm not a fan of the smell of curry either the whole floor smelt awful. I mean awful.The windows were open, with no screens, safety Hazzard for sure. I almost fell out wen I looked out, wow Could been alot cleaner especially the mirrors coming off the elevator, yuk. The room Services was not bad. paid a delivery fee plus 15% on top of that..lol. the view wasn't so relaxation as well as the smell the room was a tad rouchy. Beds were OK. Chair was very filthy, could used a serious shampoo or exchanged. Had 1 face cloth in the bathroom. Also wall paper was coming off. The kitchenettes were so worn out eye sore, not appealing at all. Wow. Other than that front desknladies were very polite. Spite the late check in.

Warning:NO Breakfast in this Hotel!The room rate at this hotel is similar to or even more expensive than other hotels. To be honest, the building is quite old, and the cleanliness is just passable. But most importantly, it doesn't come with breakfast! No breakfast! You have to go to the restaurant and pay separately for breakfast! It's the worst nightmare I could encounter while traveling around the world – no breakfast!!!

I’ll start by saying the Front Desk Staff were amazing. They were very friendly and tried their best to go above and beyond. Beds were SO comfy but the cleanliness of this hotel did not meet my standards. The first room I was put in was noticeably not cleaned properly (dirty floor, crumbs on the armchair, empty liquor bottle behind chair, hair in the sink). The front desk staff upgraded us to another room immediately which was much appreciated. This next room was cleaner but still not great. The mini hand-soaps were not sealed and had been used, then put back on display like they were new. Chairs were horribly grease stained, fingerprint all over microwave, dents on the walls, dust bunnies in corners.. Just generally did not seem to be cleaned properly. With a deep clean & a slight makeover I’m sure this would be a great hotel. I expected more for the cost!

I have never left a negative review for a hotel before. I just cannot recommend this one at all. I feel it was far too much money for what we received. We noticed there was water on the bathroom floor but we had both just had showers so we didn't think anything of it. After getting ready for bed we realized the water was coming from the toilet. Where the toilet is sealed to the floor was bubbling and leaking. Gross. So we shut off the water to the toilet so it would stop. In the morning we called down the the front desk to let them know. (Around 9am). They said they would notify maintenance. By 2pm we still hadn't seen anyone. Every time we used the toilet we had to turn the water back on to flush and then turn it off or we would have water all over the floor. We left until 12am that night. When we came back we noticed that housekeeping had been in as a couple towels were replaced. We also noticed our bag of bottles were gone (to me if I leave them when I go home they can have them but I usually take my bottles with me, so this wasn't cool with me). We then used the toilet and it was still doing the same thing so maintenance hadn't fixed it. The elevator smelled like pot. When we went to use the coffee maker it was disgusting under the filter. The restaurant and front desk staff are the only reason I'm giving 2 stars as they were both fantastic.

I would like to send a huge positive shoutout to Chateau Nova on Kingsway, the restaurant staff, front desk staff, housekeepers: everyone is SO friendly and made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my stay! The restaurant is a hidden gem with some AMAZING food!!! I highly recommend!

We stayed for medical purposes and they were very good accommodations, the staff was wonderful and overall enjoyed our visit.

One of the worst experiences I have had, and I have stayed in hotels in third world countries.1st red flag: Cops on site when we showed up to check in.2: Guy stumbling through parking lot, and going through garbage cans and butt cans( cigarettes).3: Room located in a separate building4: Smell of fresh cigarette smoke through building5: Did not stay over night due to wife's allergies6: During check out, a different stumbling guy attempted to enter my truck with wife in it. Thankfully I had locked the doors when I went into lobby.Will never stay at this hotel, or any other in that neighbourhood.Would give Zero stars if able.

My experience staying here is good. I stayed here with my daughter for a night. The room is nice and clean so is the bathroom. The front desk are friendly. I really want to thank the young lady wearing a red jacket at the restaurant who delivered our food around 8pm (I was staying at the separate building of the hotel) I called the restaurant to order some food I ordered a kid’s meal and a burger. My daughter keeps on crying because she’s bored and the staff asked if everything’s okay I said no because my kid is a bit bored but she patiently took my order despite the loud noise. It was -21 degrees it’s so windy and snowing and yet she agreed to deliver my food and it’s still hot when she arrived. When I opened the door I can see she’s very cold I felt bad but she greeted me with a very warm smile. She was smiling throughout our conversation! She also gave my kid a coloring paper and crayons my daughter was very happy and she stopped crying It was such a big relief. We might go back here tho, good service!

My Wife and I have been staying here for over a decade for both family visits and medical appointments. I can't say enough about the quality of service and friendliness of all the staff, they make us feel like family. The food is fantastic, the mood in both the restaurant and lounge is exemplary because and only because of the excellent people whom we know as friends.

I stayed here for 3 weeks. At the end of our visit we went to have our newborn at the hospital, before we left I grabbed a new key and renewed my room. 12 hours later I come back and the RUDE evening front desk lady says I checked out that morning. I said that it was impossible as all my stuff and babies stuff was in that room. She told me it was cleared right out of my belongings and began looking for my things (1000s of $ of electronics, we stayed 3 weeks.) anyways, she did this for 1 hour, treating me like a liar, threatening to call the police. After a hour she sends someone to check my room. EVERYTHING was still in my room!!! She basically held my possessions hostage while my baby waited for his diapers and clothes at the hospital. I will never stay here again and recommend no one stays here if you like your belongings not to be stolen.
