A friend of mine got her door “fixed” by Mark recently. Her motor was malfunctioning, Mark showed up replaced everything BUT the motor. He charged more than 3x the price of the hardware and the hardware wasn’t even new! It was used and had rust marks. She paid 1160$ and the garage door still isn’t fixed. She was clearly being taken advantage of. If you need your garage door fixed, find someone else.

This company was very easy and accommodating to deal with. They were professional, right down to accepting different forms of payment. Most of all, they were extremely quick with booking and completing the entire garage door fix - less than 24 hrs. Thanks so much!

I had an excellent experience with this company. It was easy to get an appointment on short notice, they were friendly, professional and arrived early. They provided a description of the recommended work and upgrades with price quote ahead of time, and didn't proceed until I was comfortable and approved. The work was done extremely fast and I know it was quality work because my garage door works great now, problem solved!

Wow! Instant service. Called another company, who were first on google search. Other company was a no show after three attempts. Tried The Garage Door Company who answered the phone immediately, were at the house within 1 hour and fixed our problem quickly and efficiently. Will definitely use them again and have pasted their business card to my garage door opener so I don't forget them. Price was reasonable, service was excellent.

This whole process has left me racked with anxiety. I feel deeply cheated and have lost too much sleep over this. I am hoping to write this post and put this unfortunate business behind me.I called Mark Weibe at The Garage Door Company to install a conversion kit on my Wayne Dalton garage door spring assembly. I was billed by Mark Wiebe under the company name Homestead Garage Doors. The company billing address was in Crossfield. The Google advertisements for The Garage Door Company were from addresses in Crowfoot and Country Hills. He installed the conversion kit with one of his adult sons.They installed used or rusted/corroded parts and refused to replace them.They installed the garage door rod out of level. The whole rod was bent or warped. They came back to straighten it partially, but refused to level it completely implying that this request was unreasonable. The rod oscillates when the garage door opens and closes.They installed the mounting plates over the garage door sensor cable which could lead to a break in the wire and a control failure in the future.They took my new cable which I had installed on the old torsion system, but left the floor littered with garbage from the rollers they replaced.There is slack on the right door cable when the door is fully open. I brought that to their attention, but my concern was dismissed. A slack cable has the potential to come off the roller resulting in a service call.I would encourage everyone to get a quote and not an estimate. I would encourage others to seek two other quotes from reputable companies. You may find that your second and third quote will be a fraction of the price for a quality installation.I will need to hire a professional company to do the work that they have refused to cover on warranty on the very same day this garage door was installed.

Had problems with my garage door balance and the garage door opener would keep rolling back up. Called them on a holiday Monday at noon and they where at my house within an hour and a half. Less than an hour later my door is working again. Excellent and fast service would highly recommend.

Mark came quickly to fix our garage door. He diagnosed what was wrong right away and had all the parts with him to fix it. He clearly knows his stuff! We are very appreciative of his help and would totally recommend him. Should we require future repairs we will definitely contact him.

Our garage door died suddenly and we called several different local companies of which the Garage Door Company were the only ones available to help us quickly. They were timely, courteous and very professional. The product they installed is very quiet and much more advanced than our previous one. The price was comparable and the system has a 5 year warranty unlike other retail products or companies. We were very pleased with the service and product. Thanks GDC!

This is not the review we had hoped to write. Our small company did a service job for The Garage Door Company Ltd. in February. After several attempts at collecting payment for the service work completed, we have still not received payment. As a small business yourselves, I'm sure you realize the impact on cash flow when bills are not paid and actually ignored. We trust you will do the right thing and pay the outstanding balance on your account with no more looking into it" promises."

This was the only company that was available on Sunday afternoon when our garage door suddenly stopped working.Very professional came on time and the estimate was bang on, changed cable and drums and they had everything they needed on site, easy payment method and very respectable technician.So work was done in half an hour. I would recommend them anytime. Thank you The Garage door company for your excellent service.
