Bought all my appliances there , the sales rep (Julie) was very helpful and attentive to my needs . I also purchased laminate flooring and was very satisfied with my purchase. The staff there are very kind and generous, they were always there throughout the process. Definitely recommend this location

I should've known better...I had issues with this Rona when I bought appliances in 2022.This time, I bought patio furniture online.Issue 1) Received a call from the employee at the store to schedule a delivery date. I asked if the delivery person could bring the boxes to my apartment on the 2nd floor, and there was an elevator. She said yes and to remind the delivery person once onsite. I did, but he said they don't do that. He had seen the request, called his boss, who confirmed they do not offer this. I was stuck in the main lobby as I am not able to bring them up myself.Issue 2) two out of three products was defective. It happens. I went to the store (thankfully, I live 5 minutes away). I was there for about 30 minutes (from the time I walked in to the time I walked out) before the issue was supposedly solved. The delivery service manager assured they would deliver the new products AND pickup the defective products in the same trip, tomorrow. He said on ne laisse pas tomber nos clients"

Hit and miss. The inventory doesn’t always line up with their web. Staff knowledge is also hit and miss. It’s good to have a look what they have but keep expectations of service low but you can get lucky.

Cannot stand the self-service checkouts. Hardly self-service when I was immediately assisted by a store employee. Based on the facial expressions of fellow shoppers, it seemed most others felt the same.

Self Check-out only. I for one, do not like to be watched as I scan things like I am some kind of thief. Especially with all the unusual things you need to ring up at a hardware store. I want a discount if I am doing their work for them.

My mother went in store to purchase a Washing machine, the purchase went fine but the delivery service is awful. I dont know what went wrong but when she gave them the information to delivery since there's a language barrier they used her ID for the delivery information but still managed to get it wrong, they wrote the wrong address, name and phone number. To me it seems like they don't know how to read and when I tried calling the store there was no answer even after I called about 20 times and I tried every line, I had to contact online support so they called the store and they couldnt even get ahold of them until after 6 tries. I would avoid this location at all costs, Rona is great just not in Gatineau. They need better employees.Update: I was able to contact them via online support but now they gave us the wrong washer and came to take it back still not giving us the one we bought, they call me early in the morning when I’m asleep and when I try to call back they tell me they’re going to call me back and never do.

There was a good sale on a tool that I wanted.It was out of stock at this store, but their website said that I could order it in store so I did.Paid the total cost up front, and was told 2-3 weeks for delivery.I checked their stock online over the course of 3 weeks and saw it available in store a few times so I waited for my call. It never came.After 3 weeks I went to ask about it. Nobody was able to give me an answer as where my order was, but they told me that they were having it sent from another store. Told me to wait another 3-4 days.I waited 4 more days, then was told by a floor supervisor that the item was backordered and would be another 9 days.I asked if I could go pick the item up at another store and was told no, I had to wait or cancel the order.I waited 9 more days. On the 10th day I went to the store and found three of these tools sitting on the shelf.Nobody called me.I ended up leaving with my tool that day after waiting for 5 weeks and getting no customer support at all.The most frustrating part is that there was never any paperwork given to me when I picked it up, so I have lost 5 weeks off my 90 day warranty.Will not be returning to this store.

Love the convenience of having this full service home store so close. Just bought out washer and dryer there and couldn't be happier with our purchase experience!

This Rona has changed drastically since the pandemic. There seems to be less experienced qualified staff. The inventory is not updated, is incomplete and out of order. The customer service program accused me before asking questions.
