Glogowski Euro Food Ltd

I love this store, it’s clean and packed with lots of stuff: meats and meat products for everyone’s taste, food seasonings/ lots of dry ingredients and pastas, European cakes plus a variety of chocolates, candies and other sweet products, same with “a sea” of teas to choose from and (mostly instant) coffee as well, marinated cabbage, pickles, lots of canned goods of all sorts, …what else?…yes, cheeses of all kind, breads, also (I believe organic/ locally grown?!) veggies and fruits that are in season, …well too many other things to list, European detergents, shampoos, lotions, you’ll have to visit and see for yourself. The service is excellent, the staff is really pleasant and (oh,so) patient, with most working in the meats section of the store. My only problem is that I never ever manage to stay within my budget when I go there, so I end up spending too much money AND pack a few extra pounds after each visit… Oh, well…

I went in on Monday specifically to stock up on hamburger meat for the summer. I have always bought in bulk, something taught by my German parents. I asked specifically for 30 lbs altogether. I was hit with a dumbfounded look which I realized the woman spoke no English. I spoke in German, held up my hands for 30, had another customer try to help who then lost her place in line and was given dirty looks for that. I understand everything is in kilos but I've never had problems before. Another woman spoke to her and both looked at me holding up a bag of meat and told me that was enough, I didn't need more! It was 12 lbs, not the 30 lbs I had come for and was willing to pay for. I was flabbergasted. Never had I gone shopping anywhere and was told that's enough lady. Unless there was limits. I am a paying customer who I thought the more I buy the more they make.I love the Euro store but this has me very upset and feeling mistreated by staff. If you can't speak English or another of the languages spoken by customers, you shouldn't be behind the counter helping.

The store has a good selection however I found a few items past their best before date. I find the layout of the store to be little awkward as the isles are narrow and when you come in, you're right away met with a lineup to the meat counter. I found the staff I encountered rather unwelcoming all in all not too, too bad

Great selection of European food, laundry, delicious kraut, meats perogies, sweets. Find so many great things.

Love this place! Great local deli with lots of variety, fair prices, efficient and friendly staff. Used to go frequently and even living an hour away now, we still make a special stop when we're in town. Great selection and fresh. Also make some in-store home cooked meals like cabbage rolls and schnitzel, which are pretty good. Also some out of country products, like jams and pickles, that just taste like nothing local. Highly recommend this store!

Always busy. Great selection at deli/meat counter. Not certain if Wednesday is their delivery of pastry but there was a full selection of fresh items. Biggest downside is everything is tight. Would not be able to maneuver a wheelchair or even go down an isle. Not all items have english instructions. Word of caution, check expirary date. Cashier friendly and helpful.

Real blood sausage. Black bread. 5 stars from Russian trucker.

We go here for cheese and sausages. Friendly staff. Last week I bought smoked cheese which tasted good and perogies also tasted good. Always lots of stuff to check out.

Good selection of Polish, some Ukrainians products and decent deli BUT be careful, EXPIRED products. Twice I found expired cabbage rolls, and now 2 months expired chesse pancakes in their fridge
