I have had an excellent experience working with Nathan Luu to rent a property. He was helpful, attentive to my many questions and concerns and courteous.

Avoid renting property from this group.We moved into a property with one existing tenant already at that property. So instead of completing a move-out walkthrough with the prior tenants, and providing us with a move-in walkthrough, we were denied any inspection before we took possession of the property. This left us with several minor issues we were on the hook for once we eventually vacated the unit. Every single one of those problems were massively over-charged (light bulb replacement, sanding of holes we plastered over, and a fridge drawer replacement) all totalled over $500. The hole sanded was the width of a mounting screw and cost nearly $100, while the light bulb replacement cost $40. Of course, the light bulb was burnt out when we took possession and we never actually knew there was a light fixture in the linen closet.The property managers ‘’misplaced” the prior inspection photos and tried to blame the damage from poor yard drainage on us.While renting the property, the company insisted only one tenant communicate with their assigned manager. If that assigned tenant is out of town or unreachable, the other tenants are unable to communicate any emergencies or issues with the property.Property maintenance is near non-existent with this company. Our vents had not been cleaned for the entire time the owner had been renting the property. We don’t have kids, and the vent contractor found pairs of children’s socks and said our vents are the dirtiest he had seen in a long time and was upset our property manager let it go this long.During move-out, professional carpet cleaning is non-negotiable. We have professional carpet cleaning equipment and did the work ourselves. Still, we had to have a receipt proving we had them professionally cleaned, wasting another $500 of our damage deposit. The inspector, Mark, was incredibly rude to my female roommates and changed his tune when I called asking why they were crying after the inspection.This is the very worst experience I have had renting a place. I would vehemently avoid any listings with their name on it.

With Allan around I don't have to worry about any maintenance issues at my rental properties. He is very prompt in communicating and responding to emails or messages, even during weekends and takes timely corrective action. I am particularly happy with his suggestions related to replacements or repair of appliances. He makes sure that I do not spend money when it is not really necessary.

Terrible company to deal wih. Treats you like you are not paying rent to live in the property. Expects the house to look like nobody lived thereand overprices so they dont have to give back any deposit.

We have had a very positive experience with Hope Street. They found us multiple renters, were super easy to work with, and Daria was a fantastic account manager. She was very responsive and very helpful. The owner portal works great, and is easy to find any documentation you might need. overall, I would highly recommend them if you are looking for someone to manage a property for you.

Worst of the worst, total lack of customer services, no communication at all, rude receptionists, agents with lack of knowledge, they seem always on the tenant's side instead of the landlord's which is the one paying them. When we got our unit, was destroyed and they were lazy enough to say that it was wear and tear and the tenant was not responsible. I would not recommend this company ... find somebody else, if they keep this way... for sure out of the business soon.

It was a pleasure dealing with Christy Fowler at Hope Street. She was excellent at keeping us informed of activities at The Robson Summit of Montreaux. I would recommend Hope Street to future potential clients as they provide great customer service.

What a pleasant surprise we had when we renewed our rental lease with Cynthia. It’s a rare occasion in today’s world when you have the opportunity to be served by the same individual one year later. Cynthia is still the same courteous individual fully explaining the terms of our new rental lease.

Monique is very approachable and accomodating. She provides all the information we need to know to make sure we are not missing anything. She also answers all questions we have. She’s the best!
