Salt Spring Island Cheese

Lovely little farm and delicious cheese! Highly recommend the chutneys and jams they sell with the cheese. The animals here live in a tiny paradise.

Cute little place! The goats are fun to see although you cannot interact with them. The cheese tasting was amazing, they had several soft cheeses to try and all were delicious. I recommend the mango goat milk ice cream. It was very tasty! Great spot to stop by if you’re on the island and looking for something to do!

You can see the goats that give them the milk to make the cheese.Cheese makers are visible from the outside through the windows. It was interesting to watch them make the cheese.They have many delicious, soft cheeses and spreads to sample and for purchase. The pizza sold out but it looked absolutely delicious.It should be noted that the two side by side bathrooms are very nice and well kept.

Was a highlight for us on Salt spring! Great place for lunch and souvenir shopping. We got the margherita and truffle chèvre pizzas which were small but mighty. Decently filling with great pizza dough and crust. Enjoyed margherita more but as someone who doesn’t like pesto, the truffle one was enjoyable!They have a small garden to wander into, goats, chickens (one of them had been digging a hole with a rooster by its side from when we got there and was still at it when we left, which was amusing), and plaques describing their cheese making process.You can buy chocolates, spreads, gelato and their cheeses in the small shop. They’ll have some for you to sample. Taste and textures are really nice. Loved the blue Juliette, tapenade and st Jo feta.

We visited this farm mid of may! We found the drive to this pretty beautiful!!Unfortunately, we were there very close to the closing time so dint get to spend much time but it felt good taking a quick walk around!The goat milk icecreams were amazing! We tried mango and that was yum!!You could taste a different cheese options there.. they all are delicious to be honest!!Loved it! Definitely going to visit this and buy some cheese every time I am in salt spring island!!

I always purchase salt spring island cheeses from Costco but I can't imagine this much variety, Unbelievable. A combination of jams and cheeses is awesome. It's a great gift for everyone who likes cheese. The beautiful farm on a huge land. You can see the goats very close. You don't have a lot of options for ice cream but acceptable. They sell fresh goat meat. We saw their jams at PEI (Canada's east side)

This is one of my go to stops every time I go to Salt Spring. I love seeing the chickens and goats. I’m usually lucky enough that some of the goats are in the barn for me to pet. They have a cute little shop, where you can sample the cheese. You can of course also buy some cheese, and other locally made/produced products.

It’s a very nice place with delicious cheese. The pizza was one of the best pizza I’ve ever had! I could hang out there forever.

Such a great place to visit on the island! The cheese is divine and the gelato is beyond yummy with generous portion sizes. We also bought some mustard jelly to go with our cheese. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to explain all things cheese. The best part of the visit was connecting with the goats. Our girls couldn’t get enough of feeding them, especially Clover. Clover was such a hit that I’ve framed a photo as a keepsake. Thanks for the memories Clover!

I love this place! Incredible cheese, lovely condiments to go with your choice at the tasting centre. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Their Ice cream is amazing, Carmel is my favorite. i took my mother in law for some fresh made pizza and ice cream that we enjoyed in the beautiful garden seating. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because they accidentally gave me a gluten pizza instead of gluten free. I had a bite prior to realizing the mistake. They did remedy the situation by making the gluten free pizza right away.
