I am writing this review to express my utmost disappointment with the unprofessional behaviour I encountered during our recent interaction. As a prospective candidate for the interview, I expected a certain level of respect and consideration, which, unfortunately, was completely absent in our communication.To provide some context, I received a call from the manager Jamie regarding the interview opportunity. However, at that very moment, I was actively engaged in assisting individuals affected by a fire incident. In the midst of this critical situation, I regrettably missed your call, but I was determined to reach out as soon as possible to explain the circumstances and express my continued interest in the position.Despite making multiple attempts to contact you from my personal phone, I received no response or acknowledgment. Feeling compelled to resolve the matter promptly, I resorted to using an alternate phone number, at which point you finally answered, only to dismissively inform me that you were too busy and uninterested.Such a response was not only disheartening but also deeply disrespectful. As a professional in a managerial position, one would expect a certain level of empathy and understanding towards external circumstances that may hinder immediate communication.This experience has left me with a negative impression of your managerial capabilities and your overall professionalism. It is disconcerting to witness such callous behavior, especially when it pertains to potential candidates who are eager to contribute and bring value to your organization.I hope you reflect upon this incident and consider improving your communication skills and attitude towards prospective employees. Have only dealt with these guys for a year or so, but their service department (especially manager Troy) have gone above and beyond a couple times. Our rear windshield shattered randomly in our 2019 RDX, and even though there was only a Service Bulletin for this issue (not an actual Recall), they still went good for it. Excellent service, they actually care about you as a customer and want to keep you in an Acura!

A monopoly is bad for customers and businesses alike.I purchased my Acura MDX ASPEC 2023 through Atlantic Acura and received the car on Feb 11, 2023. A few issues emerged,1- the wireless phone charger was erratic; sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not, took it to the dealer, and one of their advisors came to the car, tried mine, iPhone 14 pro max, same thing, tried his older, smaller phone, the same thing happened. I booked another appointment, and the service advisor said we have NO SOLUTION for that, not offering any advice about the cause. I read in online forums that this is a common issue with Acura, and it is running for years, but I did not like the answer, which came across as Please SHUP UP and do not bother us with this issue.(I managed to solve it , after a lot of trial and error, by changing the case to the original Apple MagSafe Case, and position the phone diagonally, so it is meshed well on the charging bad, and it works just fine)2-I ordered 3rd-row mats, which were on backorder when I received the car. I asked about it when I was in the dealer, and they said the parts guy was not in. I texted the sales representative two weeks later and said he would get back to me, but he never did, whether yes or no!!! I called yesterday, and they said it has been available for pickup since February 17!!! Indeed it is not pleasant to feel that you chase the dealer to get your item, and if I didn’t reach out, apparently it would stay there forever!!! I met the sales manager; he apologized for it and offered a free oil change.3-I have an issue with AcuraLink, which was fixed after over a month, but not big of a deal, and Acura Canada handled it, not the dealership.4-In my opinion, you see more poor customer service when there is MONOPOLY. The unfortunate fact is this is the only dealership of Acura in Nova Scotia. It isn't good for us, the customers, and businesses alike. They feel that we have no other choice in NS. Competition is always best for customers and companies alike.5-Honest to say that the car is AMAZING; the SH-AWD system is fantastic, I drove hours in a heavy storm and the traction and handling in the snow are incredible. It carves through the snow like no other. I purchased the Michelin X-Ice snow tires packages, and it is excellent. The sales experience was smooth; Atlantic Acura delivered the car within the promised timeframe. Financing is done through Honda Canada with no issues.5-I hope that I won’t run into more issues in the future as, unfortunately, once again, this is the only Acura dealership in NS.

I still have my first very car from when I started University (a 2015 civic - not an actual Acura) and I have been taking it to Acura since moving to Halifax (e.g., for an alignment, MVI, tire mounting - little things as nothing big has come up yet) as I was warned about Colonial Honda and to avoid it.The quality of service and professionalism here has been excellent and (although I was worried about this), I have not felt I was treated any differently that any of their other (higher paying) customers. My car still has some life left in in as it is a Honda, but I am strongly considering buying my next car from Atlantic Acura when they release some version of a hybrid crossover. I had asked last time I was in about cars that would suit my needs (as Honda keeps calling and sending letters to buy my 2015 civic despite me asking them to stop), and I had an honest conversation with a salesperson who listened to what I wanted and told me to wait until 2024-2025 for something I actually wanted rather than rush into something now.I really feel they go above and beyond for their customers. I've experienced this first hand, even as someone who has spent only a few hundred dollars there in total for small maintenance work. I've also been sitting in the waiting area (with a snack bar I should add!) watching how their staff interact with other customers and I have to say, I am consistently impressed. I have other friends who are similarly reaching a point in their lives where they're starting to think of their buying their adult car" and before Atlantic Acura was recommended to me and them

Best service we have experienced in the maritimes to date. From the sale of the vehicle, to the finance process, to the service department. Atlantic Acura, Chris and all the staff deserve more than 5☆. Our family traveled to Halifax for a dance competition, and at the end of our week we noticed a big puddle beneath our Acura MDX. Chris and his team fit us in to their busy schedule. Unfortunately we we needed a major repair. Chris ordered the new rad and his team installed it the next day. They offered shuttle rides to our Air BnB, and even drove our family to a favourite local lunch spot. We cannot express how much the entire staff is appreciated. Thank you, Chris, for making it all come together!!

This place goes over and beyond for their customers!! I bought a used grand Cherokee from Bruce and he was exceptional to deal with. Shortly after the purchase I began to have a flashing engine light. I contacted Bruce who connected me to Troy Bennett. Troy took care of us!! He towed the vehicle to their shop to run several diagnostics on it. After coming up empty they sent it to the dodge dealer and had some work completed there at acuras cost. All through they had me in a rental car from enterprise. The symptoms came back and once again Troy took the vehicle, got me a rental and spent hours diagnosing. At the end of the day it seems to be working normally now what ever the issue was. If you are looking for a great dealer to take care of you pick Atlantic Acura. Thanks Tory and Bruce

Sitting in the parking lot of Atlantic Acura right now and felt compelled to write a review.I came in to get help with my vehicle’s navigation unit, and while speaking with Service Writer Chris, a Technician, Rick overheard my problem. He immediately took me out to my car, and solved the issue in minutes.I’ve worked in the auto industry, and rarely do you get service this good. They could very reasonably have asked me to make an appointment and come back, but having driven in from over an hour away, that wasn’t an option.5-Stars, and I will be back when buying my next Acura.
