Saint Marys Food Bank

I am shocked at Saint Mary's food bank. The staff is rude and treat people unfairly, I've encountered bad treatment from one of the workers at Saint Mary food bank , it was this one worker older man wearing glasses is responsible giving people food he yells at people , talks rude and has unpleasant facial gesture and dosnt smile and treats people with kindness and good smile. My experience when asked about the essential food (items) I wanted such as flour, juice, oil fruits and vegetables he didn't go and put the effort to go look what I needed just gave me mostly canned foods he was rude and I have kids that need rice to eat , milk etc wasn't helpful at all he should change his behavior with people and give people what they want otherwise he dosnt represent a good worker and isn't a good example of the Saint Mary's food bank and government should know about this if its not fixed.

It was my first time using this food bank and I was beyond impressed with how organized they were and super friendly. They were very generous with the food supplies and also gave me a 50.00 gift card for the grocery store. They are not appreciated enough and I am so thankful for them. There are a lot of volunteers and they obviously care.

The fat person sitting on front desk that is ALL the way back Deliberately delay & waste time while keeping long line.The Staff working at the back DISCRIMINATE among people based on their ETHINICITY & Served DISPROPORTIONATE Grocery & Food items in Yellow Cart for same size of family members.These Staff Members Serve HIGHLY Garbage Grocery that is Unhealthy for human Consumption.They DO NOT GIVE TOUR of inside to new food Bank Users & take good quality Grocery to their own home.They are HURTING people in the postal that are suppose to serve by giving little Grocery once per month & that too garbage.The whole staff is Insulting city of mississauga residents & it's inhumane.The whole place is a shame in the name of food Bank with Unhealthy, little & Disproportionate Grocery.Ward Councillor & City must investigate all these people running St. Mary Food Bank.They also Discriminates based on GENDER & ETHINICITY.This is the life of people in Canada.

Very rude the older man working in the office there . It’s suppose to be confidential as he’s taking my info down but he was on a video call to his friend where his buddy could see me in his office . My mom got injured so I was in there for her while she was in the car and I was with my stepdad. He literally insinuated that the info for my parents was wrong and I felt insulted as he asked “ how can my stepdad be 18 years younger than my elderly mom . Well it was as correct info . This guy should not be working there and also told them to go on Wednesday for food but yet Wednesday on the website the place is closed . He’s ignorant and I do not feel it is a confidential place where peoples privacy should be respected and not on a video call while someone is in his office working . .Bye the way my stepdad has a disability of which he cannot read or write and the man literally said rudely to my stepdad “ what’s wrong don’t you read or write . “Just ignorant and made us all feel just horrible

Love this place there always helpful and go out of there way to make sure there community is served and taking care of

They're are very nice. They gave us enough food for our family. We say thank you to all the team.

This place berating experience people that need help should be treated much better than this if you leave behind the rotten produce and the middle Eastern food the director says you only want the good stuff which some people are unable to get around on the bus let alone take home spoiled food then get told by some middle East director that you are not in need very much I find disscusstung I worked very hard for forty years I guess it's mine and everyone else's fault that we have to rely on this place due to the postal code
