I was visiting my grandkids here in Alberta and we came to the leisure centre for an afternoon. They loved the indoor waterslide. The family change rooms were really handy to use. I loved that there was a smaller pool for the younger ones and a bigger pool for the big kids. There is a family rate, so make sure to ask for it.

Nice place to go with the kids swimming and skating in the winter. The desserts and coffee at the coffee shop are amazing! The kids love to grab a booster juice after swimming. Other amenities too.

Good place to go if you want to sit in the Luke warm hot tub, because if you try to swim in the pools or do laps they are packed up with water polo or swim lessons 7 days a week 364 days a year. I have a yearly membership that I will prob cancel. I pay it to use the pool to do laps, but 95% of the time you are provided with 1-2 lanes that are usually already being used. They close the public swim times for swimming lessons which seems like they get all the pool time. I agree kids need to learn how to swim. Everyone does. Spruce grove needs another pool. Not a big rec centre, just an indoor pool. So we can have more pool time for something other then water polo and swim lessons.

So disappointed and upset. My family tried to come here this afternoon to swim for Father's day. Checked the website and NOTHING said the pool wad closed. Drove all the way from northside Edmonton because we LIKED this pool. Got there just to find the pool was closed for some event. Front counter ladies were rude and not even a little bit apologetic for the inconvenience. Never returning. The kids are crying and Father's day is RUINED.

I took my daughter swimming for the first time here and it was truly a fantastic experience!!!We used the family change room and it was very clean. The locks on the lockers allow you to secure your belongings for free with instructions on the locker fronts. There were only a couple this fancy, but there were even change rooms with a shower, toilet and sink. If we didn't go during the day I am sure it would be much harder to snag one. Pool was amazing for a small child. Water temperature was perfect to spend a few hours there and not get cold. My child is 3 and the depths were great. It did go very gradually over her head but you shouldn't be concerned if you are paying attention to your child. They had some water toys for public (ex. Floating mats, rings, noodles, balls).Lifeguards were kind and attentive. I was one for over 10 years so it is nice to see this at a pool. They did have an incident with an elderly fellow that stayed in the hot tub a bit too long while we were there and they had a healthy amount of staff on shift to deal with him and have others watching the pool. The water structures were not on when we arrived, but you just had to ask a lifeguard and they were happy to turn it on for you. The big water slide is great again for the little ones. Decent length and speed and my little girl absolutely loved it. Might have to hold a little kid up at the end or they will get a massive face full of water. Big hot tub. Overall we loved it and for $16 for the 2 of us, I can't complain. It is no West Ed. and I have heard of some pretty fancy ones in Edmonton and surrounding area, but if you have a 3 year old that just wants to be in the water and not break the bank, this is a very good option.

Phenomenal fun for our family of 4, making use of the family pool. Helpful staff and plenty of space to have our little ones get comfortable in the water. It's become a nearly weekly activity!

Love the facility's but the last two time my wife has come out of the women's change room and she say it is absolutely filthy, hair everywhere and half used pads in the bench in the one change stall. Along with a dead bug in the puddle on the floor. Please all we ask is that the change rooms get cleaned a little more frequently

We are so lucky to have this facility in Spruce Grove. Have been using it for over a year now about 15-20 times a month.
