The Selby

I was just at an event happening here, and I genuinely didn't know what to expect. I know the area well but had not had the chance to experience this space. I was pleasantly surprised at how charming the space and staff were. I had no issue finding the building, or the event as the concierge (Josh) on duty was beyond helpful and friendly. He seemed to be everywhere at once and always when we needed him, amazingly! The building itself was stunning and clean as the area could suggest otherwise. All in all, this was an excellent night, and it could not have gone better. Well done, and I certainly recommend this space for a stylish and sophisticated event. I can only imagine how it might be to live here as well!

I lived at at Selby just shy of 2 years and can’t speak highly enough of my experience here. Management and concierge are very friendly and helpful. The gym and amenities are great, the lobby is always beautiful with fresh flowers and frequent events (like a harpist or pianist playing or pet-friendly events). I loved my unit. The building was kept clean and smelled nice. It was one of the best living experiences I’ve had. I loved calling The Selby home.

I love living here! I moved in about a month ago now and the concierge is probably one of my favourite parts about coming home every day. Josh makes the Selby so warm and welcoming! He’s also always been there to sort through every request my mom and I have had. Him and Edvin are awesome, make a great team and I get to excited to see them every day :)

Beautiful historical building located right next to the James Cooper mansion. I like that the two buildings are located by each other. There is a bar/lounge within as well, which is a nice addition for residents.

Let me tell you the best part about living here. It’s the staff.From the concierge, to the leasing team, management, also the maintenance team, they are so prompt and go above and beyond to really assist you with whatever problems you have with your apartment. Mugabe and Kent and the rest of maintenance are not only incredibly professional, but they are also very kind and considerate. I know that we are in good hands at the selby.

Beautiful new building expertly managed by a very friendly team. Big thanks to Natasha, Valerie, Damon and Mugabe among others for always being so welcoming and helpful. The units are on the smaller side and pricey, but standard for Toronto given the high end amenities in the building. I especially loved the gym, steam sauna and the outdoor pool. They are also always organizing fun events, a great way to socialize with other people in the building.

My wife and I have been living here a little over two years. What first attracted us was the location, amenities and pet spa. The reason that we've stayed here longer than anywhere else though is the amazing staff. They have always been accommodating to our needs. I would like to specifically give a special thank you to Ayende. He is warm, helpful and always smiling when I return home. Thank you for making The Selby feel like a refuge from the crazy pace of Toronto.

What piqued our interest even more was the historic section of the building, which has its own fascinating story to tell.During our visit, Adeeb, the leasing consultant, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. He expertly guided us through the property and shared valuable insights, making the tour both enjoyable and educational.If you're in search of a stylish and comfortable living space with a touch of history, The Selby is definitely worth considering. And when you decide to pay a visit, make sure to ask for Adeeb – he's a true professional who will make your experience at The Selby a memorable one!
