I've taking my car to Frank for over 10 years. His service has never been short of stellar. He is easy to talk to, calls and discusses repair options (and costs) before proceeding, straightforward, honest, and fair pricing. I have had emergency repairs done here, in addition to routine oil changes and tire rotations. Frank is always on time and great to deal with. Alcina Automotive is highly recommended!

Upon further reflection, I feel my experience here could have been better. I was charged for services I didn’t ask for and wasn’t consulted on beforehand. My car needed the work — but I do wish I had a quote before moving forward, as it’s presumptuous to assume a client can afford, and wants all extra services. (I’d like to think it wasn’t because of my gender, but I’m worried it was — which is why I’m writing this review.) This is a PSA to women to ask a lot of questions before paying the bill, as much as it is a criticism on the way this interaction was handled.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Frank at Alcina going on six years now. We've trusted in his honesty, and his skill set. Frank's easy to talk to and understanding. He's gotten to the root cause of problems where other mechanics could not. Our cars are older now 2005 and 2010. Both are well over 200,000 km.He's kept them both in top mechanical condition allowing us to extend our use of the vehicles for years.

Awesome experience! My passenger caliper was sticking and frank took me in on short notice, did a really great job, highly recommend alcina for a proper fix in the city.

Alcina has been servicing our vehicles since they opened about 15 years ago and have always provided excellent service and honest advice. I have recommended them to all of my friends and they also have had good experiences. The price and quality combined with their honesty make this the only place i would bring my cars.

I’ve been coming to Frank at Alcina to get service and repair for two cars for about 5 years now and I routinely recommend him. Just this morning I popped in with an issue of passenger door not closing and within 2 mins he had identified the problem and within 5mins I was driving away with a fixed door. I recently had a strange occurrence in which my battery unexpectedly and seemingly inexplicably failed and needed a boost. I brought my vehicle to Frank and he performed diagnostics and kept the vehicle for as long as was necessary to determine its safety to operate.
