New ownership, very displeased with my experience. No receipts on any sales, washroom looks unhealthy, place seems to have gone in a negative direction.

Review from 2018 (2007 BMW X3):Misdiagnosed the problem. Took a week and a half to replace the ground wire (cost me $350 for a rental for this time). Cost $750. Probably won't come back this time. Shop next door did most of the work and their mechanic actually argued that I didn't need all the parts on my car after they failed to reinstall them all. Also asked them to diagnose some other electrical issues. They refused after agreeing to all this work beforehand (I called to make sure they were comfortable working on this car before I came by).Review from 2017 (1987 Porsche 944):Let them do the work this time. Dropped car off at opening (8am) told it would be done by noon. Hadn't heard from them by 2pm. Called them and they said it needed a better cable from the alternator. They did all the work by 3pm. Voltage still seems a bit low but maybe that's related to something else. Scratched the paint more. It was terrible to begin with but fresh scratches down to the bare metal (and through it) right on the front are off putting. Also left a roll of electrical tape under the hood and did not install the air intake properly. I'd still come back for an alternator but I'd do the work myself. Dropped my review a bit from last time as I'd like to see more care taken.Review from 2012 (1997 Saab 900se turbo):Had the best price on a rebuilt alternator. Picked it up from them. 3 months later a mechanic told me it wasn't working again. The shop replaced it free of charge, including all the labor. Keep in mind I didn't pay for labor the first time (I put it in myself). So I think this is excellent service.Keep in mind most of the employees don't speak English very well and the business very much prefers cash (only the owner even knows how to use their credit card machine) and you often have to wait for the owner to return if you have a question or something that needs to be resolved but the service is great.

Misdiagnosed and changed me over 400 for a starter I didn't actually need.....I think this place is probably good for rebuilding starters and alternators as that's all they do... but don't let them diagnose your car as they likely won't get it correct on the 1st try.Costly mistake for me since the fix for my issue was just a 25$ part that I was able to change myself but I ended up dishing out over 500 and still had the same problem with these guys.I would not recommend this place unless your sure it's a alternator or starter issue and you have already removed it to be replaced.....Other good mechanics can be found along this same street so shop around.I have them 2 stars cuz I feel they do really only do starters and alternators rebuilds so I would think they probably do an okay job of that.Be cautious when dealing here as they don't provide any receipts also.Cheers !

Bought alternator 8 months ago, for 16 year old car, now stopped working. Brought it back and they honoured their warranty. Made my day.

Owner was very attentive and helpful. Went out of his way to do the job well, fast and mentioned my problem was smaller than I thought. Could have told me it was a bigger job and I wouldn't have known! Ty for being honest!

Would not recommend,multiple mis diagnosis on alternator,brought it in working condition just for a rebuild and cleaning,went to go put back in truck and battery light came on,took it back for a second time to be tested and machine says it's fine,went to go test it at home with multimeter and no charge coming out of it and still battery light,took it in for a third time and they found that a diode was bad and needed to be replaced,waited over a 2 weeks for that,and when they received the part,they wouldn't install it unless I removed the alternator,even tho they have removed it for the diagnosis and when they put it back in after the diagnosis the alternator was only hand tight and could have been damaged,then they agreed to replace the alternator after many failed attempts to repair at no cost,but I declined and wanted my money back after all failed repairs,they first agreed for a refund,then went in for my money and started a fight. Do not deal with these money thieives....
