A great clock & watch repair shop! The owner is very sociable and prices are reasonable. He bent the clasp of my Rolex back into shape and cleaned it for $45, where another shop on Main St in Rockland refuses to, would only replace the whole wrist strap (with off-brand parts) for $300. He also has lots of old & beautiful watches, jewelry, and knives for sale. Support your local tradespeople!!

I collect antique clocks, and had difficulty finding someone to service and care for them. I discovered On Time Clock Repair in the yellow pages and gave them a call. Mr. Swift was very professional and knowledgeable upon conversing with him, and I arranged to have him restore one of my antique gingerbread mantle clocks. Less than a week later, the clock was beautifully restored and running flawlessly (as it does to this day). After further discussions with Charlie, I expressed my interest in having all of my clocks serviced or restored. To date, Charlie has completely rebuilt and restored two vintage mantle clocks (a Seth Thomas and an Ingraham), cleaned and serviced two additional 1900's mantle clocks (another Seth Thomas and a Howard Miller), plus a 1970's wall clock and even cleaned a vintage Seth Thomas desk clock up for me. I’ve been buying coins and other collectibles from this shop for years. I knew his prices were a little high compared to other coin shops, but I was ok with that.As I got a little older, I started making a little more money, so I started spending more money at this shop. As I did, something funny happened. All the prices went up. Things I had been buying for years suddenly jumped up by 30%. It’s obvious what happened. He knew I could afford to spend more, so he increased his prices for me and me alone.I never felt like the owner or his son were trying to take advantage of me until my last visit. I told him I knew what he was doing, and I didn’t like it. He tried to reduce the price to what I had payed just one week before but the damage was done. I would’ve spent $200 there that day, and probably hundreds more since then. Instead, he lost a customer. Forever.I can’t speak to the clock repair side of this business, but if the way he attempted to scam me is any indication, he’s not trustworthy with repair prices either.

Charlie is very knowledgeable about old and new watches and clocks. We have purchased antique clocks and he has serviced our watches as well as those of our family members as well. He is honest and offers a fair priced. Thank you Charlie!

He is a true expert in his trade, very personable and his prices for services and sales are very reasonable for the expertise he offers. I took my grandmothers 1960s Bulova watch in for a cleaning and tune up because it had stopped running. I left it with Mr. Swift for about a week and when he returned it, i noticed right away that the watch had a different face. The face said croton" (an entirely different brand). He lied and told me that bulova bought croton

Only cash, no receipt, increases the price when you pick up your watch. He’s a crook.

I brought a watch in trying to see if it was any interest in him buying this. He gave me a price I was not interested in so we parted separate ways. When he was examining the watches he took all the batteries out and kept them. This was awhile back but I would not trust this guy.
